Driftworks arch enemy

LOL that wins hands down, the title on the site cracks me up though "drifting with fwd, its possible". Sums up the whole site to be honest just allll wrong!

Newbie post:confused:

"vtec engage at 5200 rpm disengage at 5000 rpm"

is this some kind of backward vtec that newton secrety invented for fwd yo????

I'm guessing this referes to the fact that if it were to engage and disengage ot the same rpm, it could osscilate, so having the rpms above avoids this.

I in no way know anything about Vtec, so i'm only guessing. But, the Vtec kicking in system. If the threshold for on and off were the same, then if the engine were held at that RPM, what would happen? It would try turn on and off at the same time, not good.

PMSL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! cant we have like "dori police" to shut this sillyness down!!!

WEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!

Just putting my S14 up for sale now and getting me a micra, this FWD Drifting is the future i say

ah i see what you mean thanks

Its all about streeing, weight shifting, clutch & throttle control, braking,
Once you understand the balance of the car let it be, rwd, 4wd, fwd, you can drift anything!! car is a car 4 wheels.

Its not rwd only!!

bandwagon??? WTF people a just having fun...

Its call car control...

That's the winner!

:dw:

Hey this awesome! My favorite line from that forums I saw so far was this:

"I dont see how it could be 'worse' per say.. They both use different aspects of the car to initiate a drift. For example RWD cars use the power in the rear wheels to initiate a slide while FWD cars use weight transfer and braking."

God gave us a clutch in RWD and that is why we kick ass! Hahaha.

drifting is just the noun given to driving a car sideways.... by that definition ff cars can drift. I don't see why all you retards can't understand that?

Sure some methods of drive are more suited to "good" drifting by you can't count it out.

F dori (to use the JDM term that you all love) is a subculture of drifting in Japan and is accepted by all as a form of drifting.

Niether, Hawkins is the only physics guru on record to have proper RWD experience. Behold..

....on da rack y0.

lol I forgot about the Hawk. Saw him doing a Manji once in the frozen foods aisle at Tesco's. The boys got skills.

What seat is the Hawk using, is it a Bride? Looks cool what ever.

I'm sure I saw a FWD Civic or whatever 'drifting' on Initial D, therefore it must be true :P and WTF is this about some noob on the forum saying 'RWD cars use power to drift', my engine couldn't make a lawnmower cut grass...

My friend with a Saxo disagrees with me, though I'm going to sort him out soon. In a nice way, of course.
