Driftworks arch enemy

Its all about streeing, weight shifting, clutch & throttle control, braking,
Once you understand the balance of the car let it be, rwd, 4wd, fwd, you can drift anything!! car is a car 4 wheels.

Its not rwd only!!

bandwagon??? WTF people a just having fun...

Its call car control...

There's a difference between ass dragging and making your back end lose traction in a controlled manner though :D

Kinda reminds of that thing that dogs do when they have a blocked anal gland, y'know, pulling themselves across the carpet?

Thing is, I think really the question is not 'can a FWD drift' but more 'why on earth would you even want to?'

I'm sure it's great fun, but as much fun as steering on the throttle with smoke billowing off your rear wheels? I don't see it myself.

There are no shortage of affordable RWD cars, so if you've got an interest in drifting, why wouldn't you just buy one? I don't get it.

Exactly, and as drifting is a show sport, and FWD "skids" look shite it just dosnt make sense :S

People been watching too much initial D methinks

fricking retards newbie:smash: there is nothing good coming out of this thread, some people have no respect of other types of driving style!

That FF dori video was crazy. I'd imagine that Civic probably goes through handbrake cables quicker than it goes through tyres...

Hahaha, reminds me about this lad (about 18 or 19, so same age as me really) talking to me about wanting a 'drift car'.

So I was talking to him about my S13 and what I was doing to it etc...

He then says... "So I'm thinking about getting a Honda Prelude, they're awesome drifters!"

So I smirked and said "Yeah man, fucking do it, you'll look sick as fuck drifting a Prelude"

Lets just let him see for himself, atleast it stops someone getting hold of a car he could do some proper damage in... :wack: :euge:

About 2 mins afterwards, he overtook me and cut up 3 cars in his 1.0 Corsa in a 40 zone. :wack:

lol, fwd rally cars go sideways too! (hard not to at 80mph, lol) - I agree that fwd can go sliding round and the term drifting can be debated forever, truth is it's not really the spirit of true drifting which to me seems to be steering a car around with the throttle :)

that site is an abomination........simple as. "rally cars blaaah, its still its a car goin sideways so its still cool blaaah" who cars its still pretty pony.

Drifting aside, real men drive RWD cars - purely because they are better and more manly in every way.

Lol the forum gave me giggles, But as said you can drift Fwd/4WD......it's just it's not cool "drifting a fwd is a bit like shaggin a fat bird it's cool untill your mates find out"
