Everyday drifter

^^^^^^^^^^ good shout.
Tourings are awesome! Even more so with that engine & other goodies attached.... quite tempted myself.

With £8k id buy a sensible sporty diesel for daily and a (road legal) S-body for weekends and drifting, oh wait...

with 8k mate in my oppinion id get a cheap run about for the week possibly somthing that can tow, buy a cheap mx5 to learn in then do what ever mods you feel you need to it, do that for a year or two, then youve still got money left later on to get a bigger better car to drift in.

IF you really have 8k, just buy anything with rwd that u can insure with reasonably and learn from it like e36, mx5 or maybe s14. Get the spare cash to buy second daily car or just use it to repair the skid car, or even save it to do other things at your age. I have seen a lot of people with fancy cars/ builds but have little driving/ drifting skills, relying the power and barely control the car. Start low and improve the skill before improving the car. Thats my advice, you got loads of year and time to improve the car and tune the way u want after u got the skill

He wants it to be a daily too. As Ive said, if youve got £8K why limit yourself to a £1K daily driver?

is200 sport? not fast and not that powerful but enough to start in, if you want to learn to drift whilst similar age people build fast corsa/civic etc
