FC Tuning in Holland - Session 8

To my fellow Europeans, once again..

Im currently planning my 8th European FC Tuning Session @ DP Engineering

The date for your diary is Saturday 5th March :). (confirmed the date today with DP)

As always,

* A truly excellent setup (we rustle up a great BBQ if the weather is cool - see previous pics )
* DP Engineering are well equipped to deal with pretty much any issues on an engine
* Their Siemens controlled Solidworks designed cooling system is possibly one THEEE BEST ive seen out of the numerous dyno's ive used to tune engines on - this makes for excellent steady state tuning which I like to do alot of and ensures the engines stay nice and cool (upto 130mph winds if needed )

So with the above, combined with an excellent acceurate and repeatable DynaPack Hub Dyno (NO SLIP AT ALL) you can be sure of a true set up, superb engine cooling under high rpm stead state tuning and virtually perfect wind simulation conditions to your Front Mount intercooler and general cooling system whilst having your engine and ecu setup by myself

It really is the perfect choice for any big boy setups, even for just a engine power run and basic check up and engine diagnosis. The road tests are alway good fun too as Im sure the guys from previous sessions will mention.

RB25 R32
RB26 R32 fully build with a Precision GT6262
and a Z31 VG30 with a nice turbo haha :P

so hopefully we'll see you there Steve!

Cool

6262. Great turbo. I've just ordered a slightly lesser specced one for my CA as I'm gonna max out my current Greddy unit

Dates to be confirmed but myself, DP & which be letting the Dutch n German chaps know sometime early in the new year. It's likely to be around weekend 2 or 3 in February, as per last year :)

Well I didnt think i'd make february but I figured out I really need to.
Put my car on the dyno at DP yesterday and its running extremely poor at full boost.

Ill send you an email with the results tonight Steve.
And some questions on what ill be needing to get a proper mapping ;)

Horsham Stage 1a.

It was running at AF 16 on fullboost.
Kinda weird nothing broke in the 1.5 years ive been running with this chip.
Took the car out on a track twice and recently had a drift session day.

Ill start writing the mail in a bit ;)

I'll probably drop by then just for fun ( with my daily probably, s13 is in storage for the winter with a leaking waterpump gasket ;))

No probs Anu. always nice to touch base with folk :) just uploaded a bunch of tunes one of which I think was yours from the recent European Tuning Session. Click engine code or tagged words as you scroll down on the HomePage :)

Cool i'll have a look tonight, wasnt up yet last weekend ;).
I saw you saw the vid of the test run as well ;)

I dont see any vids of session 7 saturday yet :P but i see new ones pop up alot these days :D nice stuff!

Hi Anu

Im still building galleries and links form Session 2, let alone, 7 lol :)

Im about a year behind on editing :( Ive too much to do, so I try and do a bit as an when I get any free time..

It takes aaages putting that lot together.. its more for fun and a general reference aswell as a little memento for you chaps.

Reason why Ive been doing alot of updates is because all 3 of my hard drives are full of RAW files and content and ive heaps of photos form the various sessions

If you have any of your own, please send em to steve@fctuning.com and ill add them to my Showcase Galleries which im building for Jan 2011.

Bear with me with yours also.. and if you do click on CA18 as thats where you will find yours and the other guys and if you've had an FCTuningNistune ECU Solution then it will appear on that channel

No worries, i can be patient :P already added the pics I had from the session in the dropbox thingy ;)

Cheers for that. I've started uploading a few hundred from past sessions under EVENTS. More videos have also been uploaded including one under NEWS

Check em out

steve,

a 2jzgte with a emanage blue..... is that a problem for you?

From my own experience I know Steve can handle the Emanage with ease.

Steve, I'm still leaning towards the Ostrich emulators and using the file I send you for Nistune.

Got the Greddy MSS in so that's a start!
