Hi folks, been on driftworks for a while - mainly perving on build threads and the do sale section.

Looking to get a cheap daily/weekend drifter, budget £1500. I'm thinking mx5 at the moment? Any other suggestions? Not too keen on BMWs but I could be persuaded :)

Hey everyone! My name is Anthpony Higham. New to drifting but have been working on my truck for a while. 85 Toyota pickup 4x4 22r engine .. want to buy a car and turn it into a drifter. I recently got a job at Maximum Motorsports.. we specialize In suspension, steering and chassis modifications for Ford mustang, cobra, Fox body etc. Idk if those are great cars for drifting but I will be glad to hear from you guys! Feel free to message me anytime!

Hello everyone

Hi,

My name is Damien, work as a bus driver and a mechanic. Always liked watching drifting events and just drift videos. Like messing about with cars, want to buy and built a drift car, but first learn how to drift. Thinking of buying e36 328i, because they seems to be the easiest option so far and you can pick them up cheap.

If any one has any advice of there to start of suggestions I'll all ears)

I live in South London, and have my own tools but not a place to work on the car, if anyone needs a hand building a car, message me)

Drives: Passat 1.8T, 2001.

Hey guys, I'm Tim from Florida! I bought a 1990 240SX in December and I've been tearing her down since. I started drifting that day, mostly on accident. I'm changing my 240 into a drift monster once I have the money to do so. My car is currently on jackstands and only has the rear axle and diff attached. That's literally all that's on the car... I plan on an LS swap, custom dash, rollcage, fuel cell, fancy suspension of course and some sexy plasti-dip paint jobs. Message me if you have any pointers, since I'm doing 90% of the labor myself

Hello, my name is Matt and I'm from Australia. I drive an 85' Supra, it is my first car that I bought few months ago and have been interested in drifting since before I could drive. Watching the Outsiders video sort of inspired me in a way! Completely new to drifting but really interested in getting into it.

Hi my names Joe new to all the drifting scene, raced motocross for years and a fully time mechanic by trade and fancied a change and this place looks like the place to start. I have no car as yet but looking for a 3 series BMW? Limited budget to start but hopefully leading to bigger and faster things as I progress. Looking forward to reading through all the posts for newbies
