they were given to him by rota 3 or 4 sets if im correct they will be up forsale like everything else he gets given
 
wel i wasnt going to reply but.......................clearly mr barnes is taking the piss,especially as i no it to be FACT that he ripped matt chiappa off,selling him an engine that became clearly obvious its NOT the spec matt was told!!!!!!!!!

so matt was sold an engine that was "full spec" only for it to go bang because it was full or std components!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

fair...hmm me thinks not.

now ive met julian many times even had a few beers with him,would i give him my money....WOULD I FUCK!!

Car world sure, I remember SE Nissan as well as anyone, drift world, not before money and egos started getting involved. IMO at least, Im sure youll tell me how wrong I am once again.
 
Well im old, use common sense and ive never been conned (well not yet), and im as honest as they come .Guess ive been lucky, but i am amazed that peeps still deal with peeps who have conned others. I never would buy anything off of anybody dubious, whether guilty or not!
 
This whole ripping people off in the car world is nothing new, Jenson Buttons dad was doing it in the 70's through a VW tuning house he worked at, ended up pushing the company into bankruptcy and the then owner reckons he owes him around £1,000,000 in today's money. Scum is scum and there is alot of it out there, thanks to Phil for posting and getting the ball rolling on digging the dirt on this guy, these types of threads are to help others keep their money in their pockets and make people aware of who not to trust and Im gobsmacked by certain peoples reaction to them.
 
you can tell the guy is dodgy just by looking at him that doesnt change the fact that lowbrains PS is awesome car and they always put on great show no matter whos driving it.

If i go and con you out of nearly £50,000 of your hard earned money i could built some awesome cars, get some amazing drivers, and you would love me for it?
 
By the sound's of it he doesn't own the ps all you boyz who he ripped off do. That's what it sounds like to me next drift event he's in England go and get your car back.

The thing is, you need look no further than the people claiming "he's a really nice guy" to see exactly how these people get away with it. Complete arseholes they may well be, but so long as they put on a good front, there will always be plenty of people who'll vouch for them. Doesn't take a lot, lend a couple of bits to one person, buy a few beers for another, do the occasional decent job. Then stiff a few others for everything you can get out of them. Then you've got a string of people happy to say that you'd never do anything like that and blah blah blah, all day long. If they were just complete dodgy shits, nobody would ever give them the time of day. But they do just enough to give themselves an air of respectability, make it seem like things in the past were honest mistakes, etc. You'll get people jumping up to defend them even if they raped your mum. That's the way it is, unfortunately.
 
I'm going to add my story, I've known Julian a good while & always regarded him as a friend, often tagged along & joined the LBD Team in the JDM Allstars days etc. Then a couple of years ago he asked if I'd come along on & help with driving on one his delivering cars to Italy trips (I think it was a DevilSegaris deal) anyway, half way there & Julian runs out money, so muggins here coughed up for the trip so we could at least get back, it cost me 550euro & I was promised it back, many many times.

the 550euro is still outstanding, despite me dropping into his house a few times, last I heard he was going to sell his house in Bulgaria (Yes he owns a house out there if you all didn't know about that nice little asset!!!) & the money would then be forthcoming.....
 
Having worked for and been sponsored by a company that turned out to be a front for drugs you dont realise whats going on till you look back and by which time its too late

i do find it funny that the threads about him selling his sponsored parts when im sure I've seen a few federal rsr's being sold to people even julian from phil... is that not the same?
