Maxxis British Drift Championship - 2011 dates and locations

All dates sorted with my lovely bosses :worthy: , all i need to do is worry about everything else now lol :D

does seem like alot of driving up north, but hey its a championship and im sure drivers from the north say the same about coming down south!

Still looking forward to knockhill loads!

Do need to do well at silverstone next month though first!

Not sure about the year but would love to do donny missed it last year due to no engine in car :(
Ill renew my licence anyhow :)

I've got some silly questions,

isn't British truck grand prix for the 23rd April as well?

is there more than a track?

and when does it start and finish?

Donington Launchpad is where the BDC is. Massive tarmac area at Donington track. I was there last sunday. I think they made it bigger since last year :-)

fook me rog is alive
hes very much alive and teh car is very much kicking.. Protuner made sure of that.. set to be a good year for him!

Rog, you're back, this is awsome news :D
You still in Team Green ?
he is indeed.. takes his place in the team again after only being able to make round 1 last year due to engine failure. He'll be ripping up semi pros untill the let him loose in Pros. :smokin:

w000ts good to see ya back :D

Seriously need some events down south! All are really to far to travel for a fan from the south west driving a thirsty S15! Cost me 60-70 quid just in fuel! Disappointed really.

if you can afford a thirsty s15 then you can surely afford the fuel ??

any way there are plenty of people that are competing that are making the journeys from all over the uk

Grow a Pair :smash:

The thirsty s15 is after years of saving and dreaming, so I'm not gifted with money. Imagine driving 5 hours to teeside and then back, it's alot of time and money and yes If I could afford to compete it would be worth the trip, but as a fan it's just too expensive to go watch for a few hours. Santa pod etc is doable but only if I saved up. 70quid for fuel, 20quid for ticket, 10 food, that's £100 for one day!!!
So in summary Im just wishing we had some events down the south west! Llanlow, castle Combe, Kemble airfield, hullavington airfield, Haynes motor museum test track (at a push), Keevil airfield, they all have track days etc so the availability for an event is there. :)

Oh boo hoo! Everything in the UK is usually heavily centred around the south. Big deal you have to travel a bit, that's just the norm for loads of us. And that fuel bill is nothing compared to what proper northeners have to deal with regularly ;)
