whats the progress report on this, Still going on?, as i'm looking to buy a mx 5 come mid-november / dec, and would be interested
 
Well the problem is not really anyone said they would defo commit to this. Replikit said they needed 5 people DEFO and its all fine people saying, I'll buy one maybe .. i'll have money in a few months, i will buy a mx5 and then the bodykit.. thats no use for this kinda thing im afraid.

For it to work we need 5 people to defo 100% do it and commit. I put my 5 up for sale so now im not even sure i'll bother, but if more people are gonna do it then i might hold on for a little longer as im sick of going through garage vary lips every time i hit mud.
 
I was so close to importing this kit from Japan 18months ago... Im not oging to put my name down as there is no way in hell i could afford to cough up the cash, even if my car was the one the moulds were taken off :(
 
I really like the look of this kit, shame I don't have an MX5.

Posted on TrackCulture for you though dude as there's a fair few MX5 owners on there now, even if 1 is interested thats 1 more towards your 5 :D
 
Yeh cheers mang - more names the better. Im pretty set when ever, I'll see if there's anyway we can get less than 5 if there 100% confirmed sorta thing, but if we leave it too late it might be an issue for me :/ got flight tickets to pay for....
 
Right guys gonna bump this to see if there is any serious interest at all? Im getting fed up now of having to look out for lips.. and new ones cost just under £150!!! Iv bought 3 now and this would be the forth one so thats like 5-600 iv spent on friken lips alone and they keep getting totalled at the first bump... :(

I could of paid for the full kit by now. I really want this to go ahead but cant afford to shell out for the 4 other kits... 4x500=£2000... and end up with 4 bodykits. BAH

Only saw this thread now. Funnily enough I've been checking in on a near identical thread over in the states on roadster drift and considering getting involved. But like everyone else it seems I wouldnt have the spare funds now or most likely till christmas or just after.

The Doriten eunos on Barrels above is without a doubt my favourite mx5 in the world. I love it, but I'm not blown away by the other arios kit ones although they do look very well. So still a bit on the fence as to whether to go the kitted route or not.

And so basically at the moment atleast I do hope it goes ahead, but cant commit at this point sorry.

Is this still going? I'd be committed to buy and depending on where they are located I have a rolling shell or another mx5 that's not on the road that they could use. Both would have to be picked up though.

I so want one of these for my 5 but my funds are being drained for welding and getting her on the road. :cry: They do look the sex tho :)
 
If sumo power import it how much will they want for a kit? £1000+??? they are usually bloody expensive!!

Im not flush or anything but I cant believe people are complaining about a 3 peice kit costing £500:wack: of course £400 is better but £500 is hardly extortionate is it.

If I had an mx5,this is the kit it would be wearing:nod:
 
I spoke to sumo power the other day about this kit and there going to call me as soon as they have got a price for the kit and a few extra's and if its reasonable ill buy it so someone can copy it if they like but ill expect a copy for myself in return
 
thats a stupidly good price!! to put things in prospective on how cheap this is, it cost more for my boot on my mx5 after import taxes n shippin, than this hole kit costs lol!! if i wasnt rockin a semi kitted five i would jump all over this dude!

they must be 4 other owners to make this happen!
