Thought id start a thread to track the progress of my Eunos Roadster track / drift project.

Here it is, pretty much how I collected it, has a hard-top (which was an essential) and some :euge:rims fitted (which are to be sold)

Its got braces front and rear, upper and lower, and a panel filter (wooo :p) but thats about it ! Came with a Windbreak and Style Bars which ive sold on eBay. It certainly seems like a solid base to build on anyway.

Ive manged to source a few bits for it, this little package arrived yesterday : (cheers Dogs Danglies :thumbs:)

I'll have some more photos as the weekend goes on, im collecting my new rims this afternoon, and fingers crossed fitting my suspension, and I may have even sourced a 2-way LSD for cheap as well :)

Got loads more done today - here is another update :D

First job, met up with mattsteadz and collected some new wheels for the project (cheers mate :thumbs:) Much lighter and better looking than those Masitaly abortions that were fitted before!

Next job, replace the suspension with something a bit more suitable :wave:

Next job, replaced the mouldy rear numberplate with anotehr one I had made up, and took a couple of photos - needs a good wash but its getting there now !!

Gonna have a shot at getting the cage in tomorrow, hop I can still get the hardtop on and off !! :wack:

Nice car!, good to see another eunos drifter on the site!:thumbs: and snap with enkie alloys! im getting mine refurbed black later this year!:smokin:
 
Quick Update :

Got the cage in yesterday - that was a time consuming job, easier on a car without a roof tho :)

Had to remove the side clamps from the hard top so I can get it on and off, im going to have to modify them / move them so they clear the cage.

No pics yet, i'll take some shortly.

Next on the list - a set of tyres, and some breaks, and at least one seat, if anyone has any seat / seats kicking aound let me know.

Got a week at the 'ring coming up (May 21st onwards) so need to get a bit of a shift on !

EDIT : Ringer - yeah its a 1.6, would have gone for a 1.8 but im trying to do everything on a budget. Aside from buying the car, im acutally in profit after selling the bits the car came with and buying the mods !

Out of interest - where did you get the blue padding for your cage ?

Yeah, it looks proper mean with the cage and the hardtop on :)

Need to sort those side latches out tho, gonna try re-locating them next weekend.

Adam - can you remember how much padding you ordered to cover your cage ?

Had a delivery today :D

Got the seats new in the end - so much for doing things on a budget, but its only just over 3 weeks till I go to the 'ring again, and needs must :D Got the harnesses really cheap off a mate, so thats good !

Im expecting more bits to be delivered tomorrow - ill keep you posted

Yeah some pics would be great ! Im gonna throw them in at the weekend.

Ordered a new clutch too, so thats another job on the list !
