my rb mazda b1800 drift truck.

Loving it mate. Really great stuff.
I really struggling with motivation on my cars lately, and watching so many cars on here just be big loan shop-built jobs makes it worse, but seeing this is awesome, proper stuff :worthy:

So sick! You thought about painting the intercooler black? Would work well with the red paint and make the front end slightly more understated, just a thought!

Cheers guys the intercooler is goin to be black but the truck is goin to be painted White but with a twist.
As the shop stuff that's people with far to much money to waist that never really appreciate there vehicles I know alot of the time they either don't have the skills or the time todo it. I don't have much of either aswell but alot of it is learning on route and when I'm finished I never intend to build anything as complicated every again lol.
But when I started I said I'm goin to build my dream pickup and do it myself so far I have apart from the diff and wheels which my dad has done, I've fabricated all the parts so the only standard parts left are the windows and door latches and bonnet.
I've wanted something that I can be proud of and be able to say I've done everything. Which only a handful of people can about their cars.

here ya go only a small amount done but its getting closer and closer.
got the body and cab off to finish the chassis so it wouldnt need anymore work doing.

and finally turned the pulley around on the power steering pump so i could keep the power steering due to me cutting the front off the main pulley for clearance.

few more bits that i need to paint and fit some tow eyes then the chassis is 100% finished.
just need to clean up and paint the underside of the bed and everything major is done then just fillering and smoothing of all the body work so its getting close.........

hopefully if i can get it all done but not 100% sure as i really want to get the body all painted and finished before i take it out as i know if i get it done in primer and drive it ill never get round to painting it lol.

you better make sure that front pulley is balanced dude. It's a contributing factor to RB engines failing.

R34 RB25 neo has a shorter pulley.

kool cheers i just put it in the lathe and cut off the 3rd pully so hopefully shouldnt of affected it that much. but will remove it again and find some one who can balance it. cheers for the advice

Carnt believe how long I havernt posted for got a few bits done but with decorating the house and working there hasn't been much time for the truck gt to finish off the fillering then it's ready for painting and refitting off everything including the loom which should be fun. I'll get some pics up soon.
