My RB27 Hcr32 t51r power!

Fuck sake can't get these last 3 studs out and now snapped an easy out in one hole and done the thread on another!!! So the head has to come off!! Is there anyone in Kent that knows how to take the head off and put it back on that could cone and do it for me and I will pay you?

scratch that is there anyone local that has a mig welder and gas that i could use for a day ? as im going to try welding a stud to the nuts to get them out before i resort to taking the head off!!

ive a small arc welder and mig you could borrow mate (dunno how good the mig works now though but you can do it just with the arc anyway), ive done studs before by just using the arc welder, just dabbing it on the stud to build it out then weld a nut on the weld and then just uncrew he nut and with any luck the stud too.

get a punch and tap the studs the shock can help free them a little.

Thanks for the advice dude :) will give it a try. The stuck studs are on the engine in the car still! The rb27 is on a proppet stand but that one is fine! :)

so its the rb20, should still be able to do it in the car though good luck buddy.

out of interest havn't read the whole thread what power are going to get with with 2.7 ??

Yeah its the 20 as the 27 isn't ready yet. That was dyno'd at 620hp at 1.3 bar before it come out the car. And I have all the fuel system and ecu and stuff from the car :) it should push a bit more as I've changed a few bits and will fully forge it so if I wanted I could up the boost and run up to 800 or so! But 650 will be enough for me lol

feckin ell mate, you gonna need some decent rubber dude that will be mental bloddy hell, didnt realise you were going that big, fair play.

Lol if the gts badge was still on there id leave it! And rubber wise I'll be running 265 35 18 not sure what brand yet as what U did want to run isn't made any more so I might run toyo r1r's! Still not found a welder though :(

as said mate i have a small arc welder with small electrodes if you need to borrow.

Toyo R888 are lush and probably what you want for the RB27, had a mate who was running 800hp in a GTR and they were the only tyres that could live up to the power..... but up to you. Might be neighbours soon, just viewed a house in Foulds Close, very nice!!

Yeah they are the shit but no good for a daily or in rain. The r1r is the next step down but are really good in the wet :) do it dude!and you can give me a hand on the skyline lol!!
