Iv desided to part company with the JZS platform and go for something a bit smaller and lighter.. SXE10 is what im going to build.
Breaking this Aristo/GS now so if you want any parts please pm me.
I'll be keeping all the engine and running gear parts for the SXE build so that stuff is not forsale.

Watched a lot of footage back and don't think I can make this car as competitive as something smaller and lighter..

Shame it wasn't used long........do you have any of the internal trim stuff left, my car has broke it's dash brightening knob on the right of the steering wheel, what condition is the passenger side wing like

Yes mate I have most the trims and switches etc... It's the beige interior iv got, is that what you need?

It is a shame, I do love it and it's good fun, but as you know, the SXE is just so much better ballanced and skids so much better..
For competition there's no doubt an SXE will be better..

Still gona be rockin a 1jz powered 4door Toyota man.. And you are still allowed to crash into me too dude:thumbs:

Think you're mad. There's a whoole lot more to being competitive than a car that's a little bit lighter!

Aristos are cool as, and different too, which is a big bonus in my eyes.

Cant find it anymore but there's an old but brilliant in-car vid of Taniguchi drifting one, fair few mins long, but sooo good, enough to make anyone want one.

Yeah there's no doubting it's cool.. Watching Daigo and Taniguchi in these badass Toyotas is whats made me so into my toyotas... But there is also reasons Taniguchi uses his fleet of 3 Altezza's in competition now, and not his Aristo.. And same for Daigo moving away from the huge JZX's...
Iv watched most videos on the net with Taniguchi's aristo in, it does go well but it doesn't transition quick enough, and his is an HKS 'no expense spared' built car..

It's all good and fine until your twinning, but this barge does make life harder than it need be...

Considering I'm using full SXE front hub Assy on my Aristo, and using SXE coilovers, I can just swap my modified shizzle over.
The 1j out the Aristo will go straight onto an SXE subframe after i modify it to sit the engine back and down as far as it will fit, this will be done in a day.. I have to take my engine out the aristo to do all the turbo mods anyway so not really much extra work.

The fact that SXE parts are a lot more available than JZS parts is also a factor in the decision.
