wanted to go real swanky and get my overfenders, spoiler, air Dam etc. On amd be done with it… but small cracks in the paint been buggin the hell out of me, so pulled the whole thing apart…. Basicly full retard…

Taking a break from the rust repairs and started doing brackets etc for the new alternator.
Classic cars, in gennerel, often lack the capacity to replenish it’s battery charge fully. Both due to having old wiring, bad connections etc, but in particular due to it having a small alternator… Well it’s basicly a generator and they have extern voltage control and so on… they will give around 20-30 amps. And if you run an electrical fuelpump, new radio or something Else the car didn’t have from Stock, your bound to get in trouble…
I’m redoing my 71’ celica’s electrical system from the Ground up, and starting with a Modern 80 AMP alternator is the first and most important step.. I’ll show you all you need to go down that path on your own.
