And with everything going on right now, I just don’t trust anything with paint on at this point… so spend some time taking some of it down to bare metal to have a look…

This does look Ok, and I have no clue why anyone Would cover this up the Way it was…

Also Got started on the Electrical powersteering colum. I’ll go into detail at some point on this and how to..

Video will be up next week.

This is still a shit show… and there is some work before more fun stuff, but hey… getting there.

Well been busy…

The engine Bay has been painted and I’m in the progress of building a new complete harness for the car… with all new electrical components, Modern alternator, electrical powersteering, beefed up wiring for lights etc… HUGE upgrade.

I’ll be getting back to paint prep once the car is back up and running…. Hopefully soon.

Ohh Boys…
So much work.. so little time

getting some stuff done, most of the front has been completely rebuild. And I’m in the process of fitting everything back up to make sure it aligns before tearing it down for final paint prep…

also testing the new wiring and electricals…

Alot of progres have been made…

I’m currently getting the body ready for paint, fixing the last rust, and right now I’m redesigning some old coilovers to fit the ta22 celica, as purpose build ta22 coilovers (or the adapted ae86 parts) cost a ton…

I’m making a cheaper alternative. Or trying to.

next up is the fronts… I’m thinking of doing some short stroke dampers, threaded sleeve and spring perch and some shorter springs… easy coilover and cheap!

Well this little hotrod Got it’s legs back today, and rolled out into the Sun for the first time in 6 month (of the two week paintjob)

Slowly getting there…

Now it’s time for fitment of overfenders, stance etc. Before the race inspired livery…

So far it has come along Way from looking like a sad Classic… now sporting new electrical system, 80 AMP alternator, Electric powersteering, updated lights, coilovers, rebuild rearend, intensive rust repairs, all new hardware(bolts etc) all done in the shed by me… #nolife

alot of episode on the youtube Channel Roadworthyish and alot more coming.

Also episode of my s13 If That’s more to your liking… or my s12. Og my Ae86…

In the pictures you posted the car has riveted on fender flares (in I assume plastic/fiberglass), have you considered welding in metal flares, or molding in plastic/glass ones?
Ahh..
Yes and no.

The flares are metal… but I don’t wan’t them welded or molded into the body… I Think the boltet on style fits the theme of the car very well

Here’s a closeup on the rears…

Mine is a 71’ so it’s supposed to have the wide rear arches from factory… thoose were cut at some point, and some random fenders were added…
I just cut the lot of and put on the overfenders.

Gotta say, i really liked the car. And the paintjob is not bad at all. As you mentioned when i picked up the subframe from you, theres a few runs, but ive seen cars painted by professionals with more runs.

Absolutely love your builds!

Thanks man!
Yeah, It’s not the best, but I’we also seen worse

Doing a little touches to the look, adding my logo and doing some more later on…
Love the Way it sit’s now… a far cry from when I first Got it…

So been a little busy with work, but also been brewing up a fresh batch of adjustable front caster arms for my 71’ celica and my ae86… basicly same parts..

so Got some cheap s13 arms, and making brackets so that they will go into the brackets on the cars…

not sure if the part that goes onto the LCA’s will fit without any trouble… but just going with it for now….

So just pulled the old Girl out of the garage for a few shots for my Christmas Vlog Series finale, together with my ae86.

Man I miss driving this thing. And can’t wait to get back to work on it, getting the last few things dialed in.
