I had a pleasure to compete against Remmo once and Trella twice and was the best times I had, tbh I would like see the top cars in Uk competing in poland, if you look for the facts cant remember a Uk driver winning a European championship, Jdm allstars for example been winning every year by a driver from other country, the thing is, there the cars donts likes stunning but the reason is because the been used as they should, pushing into the limits, I remember see some d1 cars from japan in silverstone with dot tape holding parts together and they did looks mint on the dvd lol, tbh looks like in some years we may only gonna can drive out side Uk as in here is so many politics :(

This was most likely the most gnarliest drift competition ever in the world.
I wanted to go there so badly since I saw the footage from last year. And altough I crashed, I'm so glad that I was there. It's a lifetime experience, even as a spectator you're getting so pumped up with adrenaline - it's unreal.
I can't wait for next year, and if I were you I would try everything I could to make it over there as well.
Next year could be the last year, you'll never know - but I would regret it, if I've never been there, when I've had the chance to. It doesn't get any closer to Group B than this, and if it's gone, it'll be gone forever.

Anyway here's my crash for some Internet whoring

Lmao off at the dumb ass comments about 'stance' and looks. Real drivers in real cars doing real motorsport.

Not like you that Royal, all someone said is that in comparison to JDM Allstars, D1, Formula D the cars arent all that attractive and Masta starts telling everyone that they are just kids driving toys round carparks and that these guys know all what its about ........... way to make friends and influence people.

I should add that Im all about function over form, but every race event you go to, from top to bottom people have obviously made an effort to have a well turned out car, thats all people are saying here, it just seems to be overlooked here.

As for real drivers in real cars doing real motorsport, are the likes of Nomura, Saito, Koguchi just playing at it are they? Same as the other Polish drifting threads, great spectacle, great drifting but a fucking great chip on the shoulder which is a shame. :(

All I can say is wow. Personally I think cars with all their livery on look pretty awful, with all the stickers etc removed I don't reckon they'd look so bad.

Move videos...

OMG, OMG. I'm just loling at this. What do mean: "these guys know all what its about"? you mean, polish folks? cause I never said that. I did say looks are for kids driving around carparks. If you have any sense in your brain, you know I exaggerated this to make my point more clear and stand out, not to offend anyone.

Can you make a pretty car go and perform like hell? yes you can. I never said I doubt that. I was just in shock that the first thing you guys notice about free live hardcore touge is that cars look ... ugly, wrong or whatever. To this day, I don' know what that means but it is kinna offensive. Those drifters have 1000000times smaller budged than you guys, yet they try to build competitive cars. You won't get Amuse, Re-Amemyia or spoon areo parts here as they are bloody expensive once imported.

One dude started posting exactly the same cars, with crappy areo parts but with a good stance. Now ... I know you guys like drifting. Where does Vaughn gittin jr have a stance like the one in pics? Motorsports are not about stance.

For me looks are so subjective that this whole conversation is pointless. Its just sad to see other drifters come here and say that cars look crap, or shitty or this or that, but whatever, I don't care.

Christian mate! I wasn't there in Karpacz but from what everyone says, you were amazing. Very entertaining runs! Just wanna let you know that you made a good first impression on everyone. Cheers mate!

Every single post on this thread has pretty much gushed about how challenging that track is, how good the polish drivers are, the incredible level of commitment, great crowd support, how we would love to have something like this here but the only thing you notice is people suggesting the cars could look a bit more attractive. Hello? Is that not positive and good feedback ........... or do you want us all to say that these are the best looking cars in the world when they clearly arent?

You are the only person mentioning stance, a big part of drifting and motorsport in general here is how the cars are turned out whether you like it or not, and from what Ive seen no-one has been offensive at all. Like I said, the last Polish drifting thread degenerated into insults and nonsense, this is rapidly heading the same way, pattern anyone?

come on broski. Look who started this? I didn't post anything about the looks or that anyone here needs to comment on the looks. I personally don't care that much about the looks. Not in motorsports anyway. I've been to formulaD and I find those cars to be pretty ugly, but thats not why I go and watch formulaD so I guess I just switch that part out of my mind while I watch it.

If you feel an absolute need to say that something is ugly, try to say it nicer than: "fuck me, those cars are ugly". Than you followed and agreed and then the rest came, and than some folks agreed with me and so on. I bet if you two haven't posted anything in this thread, it would have been just fine. I haven't seen the other Polish thread so If there is a pattern here, its not on our side :D obviously :D

On a seriously big diversion, something needs to be done about crowd management. Group B ended because the stakes got higher, the cars faster and the tracks just as challenging. People died because the FIA didn't bother regulating crowd control and it meant the end of the class which we can all agree is a shame, but the real tragedy is that people lost their lives.

Last year was wild, this year looks wilder and even more crammed. Next year? I dont want to see an event as progressive and thrilling as this go down the pan because of an accident, but more than that I dont want to see some fella with a camera smeared across the front of a drivers car. Even the crowds behind the barriers very nearly came into contact with cars. Its not fair on the drivers, spectators and it would be just the headline the media would need to condemn drifting if something happened.

I wasn't referring to you in particular Doc, you know I've got man bags of love for you and I know that you're not implying things. Maybe these Polish threads have a bit of culture clash? Brits are pretty arrogant at the best of times and the Polish have got plenty of balls and skills to allow a little arrogance as well. Anyhows, that aside, it's got lots of awesome in the tin.

It's like Polish girls in the UK though, beautiful naked but dress sense wise some look like they got their styling cues from the cast members of Dallas.

LOL jokes awsome event man!!! More vids, and more crowd control get with it Poland it's the 21st Century!!!! Don't let them ban this awsomeness!!!!! We need an event like this, imagine the paperwork.

That pink S15 was battling hard where did he come? Do you have any full length vids documenting the whole event?

That pink S15 is Dawid Karkosik from BudMat Auto RB Team, and here is their team video from the event, with english subtitles :

And unfortunately, there is no full lenght video documenting the whole event.

I went to Karpacz this year, and it was an amazing event... in many ways. PFD organizaton is on a new level this year, truly runs like a well oiled machine.

The driving was amazing. Well the top 10-14 drivers were amazing, the rest were trying and with a bit more dry weather practice would have been at the level of the top 14.

What is annoying though about the event is not that its unsafe. There is a level of calculated risk that you accept by attending/driving these kind of events. Without even bringing the absurdity of British health and safety to the table, which has eliminated all Darwinism from UK society, anyone present at the event could quickly realize that the event could have been much safer with little to no cost.

Two simple points.
There were amazing locking type concrete barriers at the event in some areas, but they WERENT LOCKED TOGETHER!!! This is one of the most ridiculous things Ive ever seen. As an event organizer you dream of concrete barriers of that quality and to simply just think that concrete barriers bouncing around is ok, blows my mind. Most of the delays in practice were because of oil spills and re-organizing barriers that had been moved due to crashes.

Lads... Harris fencing. Its cheap and if you line both sides of the track even it would prevent people from crossing the track, wandering media and drunk spectators,... and a whole lot of delays.

Great event in general, just with a little attention it could last for years to come rather than being something like Group B which we now can only watch on Youtube :)

Looks like I've hit a nerve lol.

Why are you constatly repeating the word "stance"? We aren't talking about stance, we are talking about whole visual presence of a race car. Looks like you're confusing the term "good loking" with "stance".

Also, please stop usind childish arguments and over emotional style of posting, it makes you look underage.

the cars you shows in your pictures are show cars and street drift cars maybe but absoluttely not competition cars, even with geomasters hubs wich correct the roll centre massivelly the car that low wil have a massivelly fucked rollcentre wich not make it a race or competition car at all. trust me, I build race and drift cars. I didn`t spended 1 penny on my s14 to make it loks good but is so fucking fast round corners that I dont care about the look, and if you are a race driver the you see you car from inside, but if you are a night car park driver then prob you need your car looking good as you spend more time wacthing it from outside than behind the wheel. full respect for polish drivers as they doing it so right and how was at the begining. even drift king (if you know who is) sayd that is one of the best drift event in the world.

and; this is poland, this is how they do it and is just awesome, this is a hardcore touge drift, if you not tough enough to compete in, dont go, if you think is too dangerous to watch, dont go. never seen the sign: motorsport can be dangerous you enter at your own risk. ? for shore is not for pussies HAHA, I`m shore some of the uk drivers could be easy able to compete with polish drivers, but where can they practicing competing against them? at santa pod? at birmingham? if we had less stupid safety and helth rules and restrictions then maybe...
the most dangerous motorcycle racing on the planet is a TT race, every year a least one driver die, but this is not a reason for others to not go and competing even puting they lives on risk, they are the best drivers in the world...
