Ps13 Drift build

PS bonnet on Onevia front looks really good.

Glad it works, looks so good too.

Was the front hard to make work? I asked Norfy before and he said the bumper needed shaving a bit and something else I think. How did you find it?

I havent touched a thing mate, Literally bolted the wings and bonnet on, and cable tied the bumper on. :smash:

It might be different depending on what bumper you run.. Mine, the small mounting blocks just under the bonnet actually sit just under the bonnet and looks really tidy tbh. ;)

That's good to hear :D

I think it might have been lighting issues as well, but if this is off-road then I guess that's no problem for you.

O right, yeah, lighting can be a problem, unless you run supermades or do what ive done, but keeping it road legal would be tricky. Norfy done it but you have already spoke to him. lol.

Bit of an update!

Well ive take the car to 2 norfolk drift days now, and the car feels amazing!
Ive had no major problems, had a couple of little issues, but will all be sorted soon.

First off.. i cooked the power steering fluid at the first day out. So replaced the pump and relocated the the pot and lines. That was that sorted.

So took it to the next day which was last saturday. All was good, the car felt great, felt a little snappy but went ok.. Then when i changed the first pair of tyres over, had a little look and found the Drivers side toe rod had split half way through :( So i wrapped some duct tape round it and went back out. And after a while it finally snapped.... while my brother was driving it :smash:

So took it off and got it welded up by Cow patt matt on here. :worthy: Many thanks.

Stuck it back on and finished the day off with the wheel rubbing the arch quite badly but never mind. :smash:

So will be ordering a new pait of toe rods and fitting them.. Then taking it to the next skid day. and Eventually get round to getting it painted :smash:

heres some pics from the weekend.

Small Update Cos im bored :smash:

Well, been getting the car ready for the next Norfolk day on the 18th. Nothing major to do. But for my own records this is what ive done.

Replace snapped toe rod with DW ones. :worthy:
Fit spacers to front so i can fit wider wheels for more front end grip.
Buy new battery and fit :(
Buy and fit new steering wheel as my one decided to leave its covering at norfolk.
Fix leaking fule filter
Change air filter foam
Generally check car over (happy to say i couldnt find anything else wrong :))

Think Thats about it really, So im now stocked up on tyres, just need to add fuel and im ready :D

:smash:

Thanks for the comment Steve... I am planning on bringing it back to get it checked over again when funds allow, as i will have to raise the suspension to get it onto the rollers, and get the alignement re done after. So will end up being quite expensive. But will be well worth it.

Small update:

Well finally got the front end and kit painted! Thanks Ian.

I am really happy with the car now, i done 3 sessions at Awesomefest and the car felt great, Needed wider front wheels as it was a bit understeery, but thats now sorted.

Unfortunately my gearbox decided it didnt like Mallory... and shat 1st and 2nd, so ended my weekend slightly early. :smash:

So now just got to swap that out, and its ready for skids again!

Anyways, Pics of how she sits now!
