Well been a busy week, with bring the car home from the workshop with a freshly mounted VH45 and 300zx gearbox. Then spent my car today picking up another gearbox for parts and spares!

Modified subframe for VH engine mounts.

All mounted up

Hey mate, yeah i tried 4 different boosters non of which would work, so im going with full wilwood reserve pedal box. Which is alot more $$$ but will be worth it in the end and still a wee way to go yet before its running.

Try suzuki swift brake booster, it worked for my setup, I used it with z33 master cylinder

Very cool build.

If you have trouble with finding a brake booster, you could always modify the stock one. (A friend of mine modified this one for his VVTI 1uzfe in an AE86)

Here is his build thread: Can I Get A Soul Clap...

Scroll down on page 16 for more info on the brake booster stuff.

Sorry for the lack of updates guys, been real busy, especially with work. But im happy to say all is going well and first start up is hopefully going to be this week. So here are some pics of my progress...

Too start us off i finally got some expert help to get the braking issue sussed. after finally realizing that a booster was now out of the question i turned to a friend for help and we came up with this. Removed the booster all together and used 2 tiltan master cylinders to work the brake with a custom bias bar, retaining the standard pedal and no firewall mods. Also using a transfer bar to move the clutch cylinder to the opposite side!

Also all the wiring is now completed and only a couple wire remain to be wired up when its all reinstalled complete.
At the same time the radiator received some love with the fans being added and a bracket for the top hose too.

The manifolds would soon follow aswell being custom made to suit car as the driver side was a real task with very little space, but both are mint and im happy as with them.

This exhaust is equally as impressive as it runs separate 2.5" from collectors to separate race mufflers into a single 3 " straight pipe out.

Finally i have mated the two key players together at last to be reinstalled back in ready for start up.

Accompanied by a Exedy 5PUK HD clutch

So now all that's left to do is to get a high pressure powersteering hose made up and a driveshaft too! Than its all steam ahead!

Aw and by the way i changed my mind on the electric powersteering after being told not to use it as its not good. and went with a Opel Astra mechanical pump.

So if all goes well i should be posting a startup video in the coming week!!! SO sit tight and watch this space!!!
