I do have a little update but I was saving it for after this weekend because I've not been able to get much done to be honest - been ill and the free time I have had has been spent re-carpeting the hallway (It does look nice now though!).
This is the little amount I have done..
Took the turbo apart because I'll be running an external WG and want to get rid of the internal stuff properly -
Bit of grinding and pic taking at the same time action -
Gives me this -
Press out the bushing and keep to one side for something else very useful to this project (but currently top secret )
The tiny internal WG port which is the cause of boost creep with these big derv turbos on petrol engines (hence the need for ext WG) -
And finally playing about with the new pillar drill (take no notice of what I'm drilling - its just a mock up)...
Things planned for this weekend... finish the carpet laying on the stairs and then over to the garage to whip out the engine from the saab - Then I can crack on with mating the engine and gearbox!
