But since you dont seem able to put together a decent reply to my questions I'm gonna call it quits.

You've managed to find out I owned a 2.0 escort and a 1.6 as my first cars, and that I used to like scoobys (btw after being in one I realised they launch well but are generally shit).

So congrats on finding out fuck all that I would tell anyone if asked lol

I think the point is that just because everyone can get on the internet, it doesn't mean that everyone is retarded, so if you are, then maybe you shouldn't leave such a long string of retardedness (yeah, I just made up a new word on your behalf) around that these clever Driftworks chaps can throw back at you when you try and spread more of it? I might be wrong though. Anyway, nice Escort, I bet it drifts well...

This place is awesome for help and parts and advice and general cool shit, but bitching and moaning and trying to blag people are usually punished in a way that is near enough an art form by those guys who've been here a while, as you just found out :)

I had zero interest in drifting back then, and I was 20 having just got my licence so couldnt insure much :)

Liking a scooby or owning an escort isn't retarded, it's just part of my car history and unless your very lucky I don't think everyone got their licence and was driving modified s bodies they day they passed

I know its FWD its not ideal to drift in but still possible, but like I said Ill wait till I get my next car.

Shifting techniques = DDC, Power shifting, heel n toe down shift, rev matching, just stuff like that is what i meant.

Drifting a fwd isn't really drifting, it's just going so fast round corners that the car slides sideways slightly.
The other way is just skiding with the hand break, which I totally agree you can go sideways for long distances but it's not really drifting.
Also, there's lift off over steer, try this at your peril, it's as predictable as a wasp on speed.

Sure I used to handbreak about in all the shit old fwd cars I grew up in, hell I even used to do it in my 325hp starlet gt, I used to do a lot of racing through woods and common land in £50 polos and novas too skidding it about dusty tracks etc but that doesn't make me a drifter lol

Btw, having an escort doesn't automatically make you a twat, however, doing what you did to your escort, and being a member of a escort owners club does make you a twat lol

Wouldn't start worrying about various techniques until you get out on a track in a RWD first.
