I agree with Doc, whats with the hating!

At least the lad is doing something! When i was 17 i was trying my fucking hardest to drift my 1993 1.4 astra ..... i still sometimes do haha but my point is, a lot of people do auto test, just because we think its gay doesnt mean it is!!

Autotest is the Karting of drifting. It teaches you skills loads of 'drivers' on here can't even get right. Go to SantaPod and see how many people struggle to even do a donut and assume they can do the track.
Stop hating on people doing something, just because it's not decked with dish and on a mountain pass overtaking tofu.

Join an MSA afiliated car club - they will run autotests.

We have loads of girls driving at ours, learning handbrake turns and shit. It's a laugh.

Nothing gayer than hanging round with girls though.

From what i gather on a Monday night for our club meetings there are actually quite a lot of autotests ran weekly around the country. Not too sure on dates though, you'd be best searching for your local motor club who will be running the events.



Restrictions car wise: Nothing (have a lad coming from leeds on october 31st for the autosolo in a porsche).



As i said, best bet is the club who are running the event itself. As a matter of fact, i might be able to help you out with any events local to Basingstoke quite easy, i hear about a lot coming from that area.
