Don't worry bout it just needs a clean and paint the subframes not to bad its just the brake discs with sitting doing nothing are a bit rusty

Its more the fact ive striped and painted the underneath and not painted the subframe. can't wait to fit all my new suspencion arms

Chassie primed

i will be deleting the fuel cap filler hole in the over fender and fitting them next as well as rubbing down all the panels and priming them.

So getting rid of the fuel filler hole in the over fender

Fitted ali plates on the outside of thefender

fiber glassed the back

After its all dry took of the plates

And after some sanding and shaping.

Not perfect but i think it will look ok once it is painted

Fitted the oposit side

And offcourse had to try a wheel on

Needs a spacer!!!!!

What else did i get upto today?

Removing the door internals realy does shed some weight

Can only hope removing all this metal makes up for fitting the cage. Weight wise.

Got the other over fender fitted

Looks okwe wll see what it looks like in primer

After preping the doors for paint i decided to try the front end on to see if it all fits

Sorry to anyone who hoped for a s14 front end ive always wanted to do the 14.5 conversion with the vertex kit (sorry adam)

Any way im glad i tryed everything up as i can see i need modification to the chassie to allow room for the head lights.

Top tip for anyone trile fit everything as nothing on a build like this is a bolt on modifiaction

I'm going to order up tube for making the intercooler support and bumper support. will also have to order my bonnet.

Sorry not to much to report as progress. Ive been doing some body work and fiberglassing i'm getting there slowly. If i can get the chassie done and the front bumper support made get it away to paint i can consentrate on the engine rebuild.

Good luck to all the guys starting the first round of the BDC in a few weeks

Took 4 ltrs of paint nissan paint code LP2 the paints not expensive but it depends on who you get it from. Not sure my self as my painter tokk care of it for me
