UK model GT Coupe, almost one lady owner from new (Seriously!) then I got it earlier this year. Its a standard car right down to the airbox, 70k genuine miles with loads of receipts etc, runs mint, I use it a few times a week as a fun car as I have a main car aswell.

Basically, what do you fine folk thinks its worth me asking for it? Bearing in mind I know how much that pile of rust went for on Ebay last week ;)

And where is best place to advertise it?

cheers muchly for any help.

Probably about £5k if there's no rust or welding etc???

cheers. its had a sill done at a previous MOT, and due an MOT this month so I'll no doubt find out what state she's in then. £5k sounds optimistic though?

i would say 4k to an IREDM customer as they only tend to pay a bit more for cars with the usual Fogs, konis janspeed and 13" superlites.

Anywhere between 2-4K I'd have thought dependant on anything major for the MOT or if there's any of the dreaded tin worm

Theres a near identical one near to me but the old boy wont sell it :(

Well it will need a o/s/f headlight thats for sure! And those twin cam stickers will have to be removed as they are not original, and then give it the valet of its life.

Id say £4k. As you may look on ebay and think, wow that 86 just sold for £7k! They never do, as its always wasters bidding beyond theyre limits and then they get fed up of ebay wasters so then sell it for alot less without the hassle!
Thats my ideas anyway! :p

yeah, the lamp has a stone chip in it which has corroded the reflective liner away on that lamp. Any suggestions where I can get a second hand lamp btw?

I'm not expecting to get anywhere near £7k,as you say thats fantasy land, but £4k seems realistic to me, depending on what the MOT man says.

thanks

You can buy my headlight, and i will have yours as i want to make a cold air feed out of an old headlight direct to my throttle bodies! :D But i dont want to damage my mint headlight in doing so

MOT man says 'no' haha

shouldn't you be at work??

I realise mot man will laugh in my face with that lamp aye. :(

If you're serious about the lamp swap do you fancy pm'ing me with some details on how you'd like to do the swap?

Got the day off man! Betty is having her exhaust modifed as we speak, as ive lowered it so much now the exhaust sat on the axle, so its now going under axle! :D

Baz, you will have PM in a sec!

I'd say between 3-4k, i had a fully restored 1 with all new toyota panels on it and got just under 4k for it. so depends who u get customer wise!

Could be a bit much at £4k? I'd say more around the three. As standard cars the handling and stuff is pretty bad so a new set of koni's need to be factored into the price aswell as superlites and a janspeed exhaust, maybe a set of cibie spots...!!!!!!!!!

The handling isn't that bad tbh, it rolls a bit but feels fine once you're used to it :) There's no knocking or creaking either, it rides better than some newer cars I've had the displeasure of being in... :p

If my mate can't/won't have it then I'd be open to realistic offers. And no, a tenner isn't realistic sammy ;)

What ever Irish boy! (Johnmaloney88) Dont do the stereo typical thing of the irish and 13" superlights etc! Its getting boring now.

Plus you know over in your country it will be worth more than £3k all day long as its a genuine UK spec with loads of miles and history!

it's worth a small bit more over here, but i'm just factoring in the cost of bringing it over and putting irish plates on it. And i don't mean i'd put those things on it i'm just sayin it might be easier to sell it over here if they were on it.

That's why i'm sayin closer to £3k, but they are a different class of car. Baz's is a lovely uk spec with 70k miles. astraboys was older with more miles, no interior etc. No disrespect to the car though, i wanted to buy it but it's not as nice a car!
