right thought i'de start up a lock thread.

the idea is to post up a picture of your car on full lock (driving or stationary) and then list exactly what you've done to achieve what lock you have.

this is just to show exactly what modifications gain extra lock and what difference it makes. just to help people out.

ill be going for the DW knuckles for my next project (S14) and am hoping to have silly lock.

but anyway i'll start off the thread.

S13 with tein track rods & ends with the tein spacer fitted that came in the set.

yes, tbh 40mm would have been more sensible, at the moment the adjustable camber topmounts are pushed right out & i stiill have mega camber lol. ive not driven it as yet so will see how it goes before i do anything else.

Home made +35mm lower arms
9j +5et 17inch wheels
235 40 17 marangoni
6.5* caster
3.5* camber
0 toe done by eye
Homebrew knuckles with less ackerman, quicker steering, less included angle, 45mm roll centre correction, 55mm of bumpsteer correction. Took over 12months to get to where iam with them now
Lengthened ikeya tie rods
Rack forward +18mm

I have geoknuckles to fit but iam saving them for a different project. After some quick rough measurements its has turned out that my own hubs are nion identicle, so I may as well leave the car as is and use them on my skyline.

Heres mine, tein rods and ends with spacer. S14 LCA and untouched s14 knuckles, 7* caster.

Kinda want more but dont need it yet. Extra lock from standard saved my anus around Gerrards a few times though!

rack moved forward 15mm,
7mm rack spacers
Modded and extended standard tie rods

Now with 25mm extended lower arms.
Modded tension rods
And another little trick to the rack (10mm spacers!)
