Got mine from Kenny on here, think I paid £100 - Mitch just beat me to the one on SXOC :D

Probably the coolest thing on the car, nothing like booting it through a town centre with tall buildings or a tunnel and letting it crack and bang. Still sounds better on skylines though :(

I only use mine on track, being the law abiding citizen that I am:nod:

Unless being tailgated or going past cyclists :D
 
ahhh i want one bad! :D on the one of the newera videos with the white chaser (which i think is on topi's avatar) which drifts round a corner and floors it, it pops, bangs and flames big style, is that with a bee-r rev limiter?

Yeah thats using a Bee R, the flame is foookin huuuge!!

One of them is in my mates 180 and we havnt got a clue whats goin on with it???

BR REV LIMITTER INSTALLATION MANUAL (取付書)
It is highly recommended that the instructions are read and followed.
■FIRSTLY (はじめに)
Thank you for purchasing and supporting Bee Racing Japan product.
The instructions should be read and understood for safe operation of the BR REV LIMITTER

■PRODUCT FEATURES (本製品の特徴)
BR REV LIMITTER is designed to cut ignition and prevent over revving the engine
Two rev limits can be set manually.

■NAME KEY OF OPERATING DEFINITIONS
LAMP-Function indicator lamp

REV1(レブ1)
REV1-Sets the operational RPM range.

REV2-Sets the operational RPM range.

GAIN sets the cutoff point.

■OPERATING RPM (作動回転数)

The operating range can be set and adjusted using the REV1 or REV2 dial switch.

Setting 0…2500rpm, Setting 1…3000rpm, Setting 2…3500rpm to Setting F…10000rpm maximum
with maximum with 500rpm increments
REV 2 can be used when the white wire is connected to the handbrake or gears.

When the white wire is not connected, REV 1 is used only (REV 2 is non operational)

N.b.The operating range of product is below the factory fuel cut system cutoff point..
The product will not operate above the factory point and works below that cutoff point.
As noted above, Nothing can be controlled or adjusted above the factory point.

■GAIN OPERATION (GAIN調整)
Sets the cutoff range. Setting 0…off, Setting 1…Setting F is the range of settings.
(The unit comes with 6 preset settings)

From setting 1, the exhaust noise becomes rougher. Setting 1 is quick bangs, Setting A is slower bangs.

Setup according to desired noise.The larger the number the louder the bangs.

N.b. During operation, the boddy moves.Depending on the model of car, when the REV LIMITTER
is used for a long period and the check lamp is illuminated, the engine may stall.

N.b. If the catalytic converter is attatch to the exhaust, the sound is greatly reduced.

■BASIC WIRING DIRECTIONS (基本配線接続)

Please follow the connection diagram and disconnect and connect (wedge the wire to attatch)

When counting the number of pins, make sure that the number on the left as well as the right
are counted.
4 wires come out from the side of the unit (red,black,yellow and green),
please connect as indicated in diagram.

Depending on the car the black wire is best connected to the minus earth point on the battery.

The white wire is only connected if REV 2 is required.
When it is connected to an earth point REV 2 is functional.
An example of place to connect would be the handbrake switch which has an earthing point.

■CHANGING CYLINDERS (気筒切り替え)
The 6 preset settings is designed for a 6 cylinder car.For a 4 cylinder car, cut the grey wire loop.
For Rotary engines cut the brown wire loop before using.

■EFFECT ON HANDLING (取扱上の注意(効果))
Extreme caution! Fire is emitted from the exhaust! !

When the engine and turbine are extremely hot, fire can be emitted from exhaust pipe.
By all means install a catalytic converter if the fire is a concern.When the gain switch is set
to max 7,the possibility of extremely large explosive noises increases.

Warning, revving the engine on normal roads may cause people think there has been an accident.
They may also call the police!!!!

Dunno about there being 2 version, the one off Kenny's AE86 fits my SR20 though so who knows!

The 3 knobs are -

1.)Rev limit 1
2.)Rev limit 2 - wired to a switch such as handbrake so for :euge:drag:euge: you can get the turbo spinning on the line so your on boost right away.
3.)Gain - harshness of the cut, set it at 10 to kill engine quickley, 1 for nice occasional cracks and bangs, mine flames alot at 3/4.

Apparently on SR20's they can blow out the classic manifold/turbo gasket quicker than usual but its so much fun I dont care :D
