weston super mare drift day, Book now!!

Last weather outlook:

I just took my dog for a walk, the sky is cloudy, you can't see a star, but feels clear, and isn't raining. If we're lucky, tomorrow will have a morning like today, sunny up until around 11, which would mean an hours dry drifting, and enough sun to dry the track up a little bit.

All I can say is, if you end up in the grass, your car is going to get muddy and shitty, no way out!

Hmm I think I know the estate. Is it the one with a big fuck off old building at the end with black and white chequers on it?

Savage bumps if so, I hit the floor putting the car on my flat drive tonight lol.

I was basically a see-saw on those speed bumps!

Great day though! Cheers to everyone who organized, everything seemed to go pretty smooth.

Hopefully it can be something abit more regular in the future. I am definately hooked.

Its called big fuck off speed bumps estate:wave:

damn right lol :D The two out by the exit is was harsh.

today was alright, gutted my car shat its powersteeing fluid due to a split pipe, but on the plus i was loving my extra lock.

oh and martin wannacotts bmw sounds sooooooo savage :worthy: nice to catch up mate been a while.

my only critisism was the track layout, if you have another one could it be changed slightly i didnt like the helipad section if im honest. other than that good day despite the weather, and thanks to my mucca Rhys for being a legend and fixing my PS pipe

Great day - only down side is i've lost my locking wheel nut key and cant get a socket into the alloy wheel recess. FAIL.

helipad area was v.slippery and I spent most of the time understeering through it more than anything else but all in all I was v.pleased with the whole day/organisation. Most people seemed well behaved!

i think if we are allowed back there, alex etc will be open to suggestions on the track the helipad in the dry was pretty good when we were testing the track just a shame with the weather

the play pen was busy all day which was good

fingers crossed we can go back there

Some people didn't go round the helipad. Buller (turquiose S14a) didn't use it after realising it was pretty harsh on the gearbox. So you didn't HAVE to use it, but at least you know for next time ... hopefully there will be one!

Just want to say a big well done to Alex and Alex for organising it. I think the last minute track change really made it work well today ;-)

Oh and I really enjoyed being on the start line. You guys are funny, kept me very entertained in the wet. You made a very damp girl very happy!!! Especially Team Church boys ;-)

Some good skids today, and loads of seat time me thinks.

Well done MOST of you for behaving for me! xxx

Massive thanks to the organisers for today i had a brilliant time in my matt black S13 ;)

I noticed though that we seemed to be digging up the potholes again lol
I hope for next time the surface is better, I'd definatley go again i think :D

I wait like an excited kid now for pics and vids :D

Wow what a day, fucking emmense :) shame I totalled my front suspension lol but if you don't have to limp home you haven't tried hard enough :D

Cheers guys for organising the day, you did a good job

Was ok. Good effort. Track layout was as good as you would get in that space so well done.

Ended up loosing 3 bits of trim on my M3 but found them again allbeit damaged.

All in all a good day but surface and dirt was a bit shit.

Need lots of pics now and I will be happy
