picked another bride fixed back for the passenger. needs some love but will be fine. i got it cheap and its genuine so worth it.

painless gears here. all really well put together. everythings labelled. instructions are good. only bummer is i need to still use my fucking hazard switch and indicator stalk (no real biggy) but i wanted to avoid it.. but shit happens. its an easy work around, and it was more of a my bad for not reading the order properly.

also bought some 6ltr VE manifolds. thought these wouldnt come CLOSE to fitting. but was cheap.. so thought worth a shot. they clear everything. sit snug to the block. so im cheering. these will do for now, ill swap them out when i do cams/head and weld some tri's together for it.

so just awaiting fuel system currently. i pick the engine loom up this week and PCM. so ill be tackling wiring the next little whiles.

dude, this looks insane! i've always fancied a dropped fc3s cabrio on dished rims. i wish i wasn't completely broke to afford something like this !

costs broke down is roughly like this.

motor/box $2800
engine mount kit $600
sump/baffle kit $400
painless wiring kit $800
coilovers/randoms suspension bits $1300
wheels $2200
bodykit bits $1000
exhaust $600
other wiring bits $200
fuel system $400
seats/interior/gauges etc $700
cage $600

so around 12k or so. thats almost finished. (thats actually really depressing when i think about it like that haha)

mates dropping the tailshaft off to be modified tomorrow and my fuel systems still stuck in customs, radiators on its way.

im off for work for a fortnite so more progress when im home

so more little shit ticked off the list. once wirings done i can weld up all the random firewall holes that arent being used anymore, and then chuck carpet back in... almost home stretch with this thing.

tailshaft doneski.

more genuine origin aero got delivered. radiators here to. i fly home tuesday so shes all go.

also as some of the guys on here that have me on FB/IG have seen. got my radiator. it doesnt fit. dont know if i fucked up the mesurements, or if they sent me the wrong one... other FC LS guys have used these rads somehow. but for me. it sits about 5000" to low. one ripple strip and id be fucked.

annndd theres the issue. so dropping it off to a mate of a mate thats a whiz with this shit. getting 3 or 4" cut off, rewelded, new outlet and job done.

also had some shitty gauges rock up, to be used in the meantime until i go haltech and racepak dash.

so more updates. huzzuh

-radiator is modified and sorted thanks to andrew milne. dropped off this morning, picked up this arvo. awesome work considering its an ebay piece of crap one.. hoping to have that mounted up tomorrow as well as hoses done.

-finally got some more body loom wiring done. made a total f**k up of the switch panel connectors. so cracked the shits and hard wired them. haha.

-cleaned up the interior and shit.

tomorrows job is to knock the whole body loom off and test everything with that. engine looms picked up wednesday. so with some luck i can at least kick it over before i go out to work next.

so yesterday got the car down to ET... what a f**king mission it was to. front of this things defs gotta come up a bit. dont even have a pinky finger between tire and chassis/strut tops. but eh. thats future dans problem.

got my loom installed as well (engine) didnt realise the guy modding it was going to keep the PCM controlling the fuel and thermos.. so i could have gotten away with using a 6 circuit painless wiring kit. but shit happens. so ill be rewiring some bits and using the fuel pump switches for windows.. or something. as i said. future dans problem

its nakey atm due to bits getting painted and such this fortnite (hopefully by the time im home)

original plan was to go 2.5" from the 6ltr manifolds. into a Y pipe to a single resi... into my old shotgun tips.

had a chat to marky about it all, basicly asked him if it was his what would he do... settled on the VE manifolds into 2.5" into a X section. single resi. into twin 3" back from that. looks pretty sedate from the rear. but its tucked super high. and should sound pretty tits.

IMG_20130908_171835_zps1a03b6dc.jpg

radiator mounts are done. its a lil wonkyish due to the rad supports half munted... in the mean time itll do. up the track i think it'll be tubed. (awaits spotman to pipe in with his usual LS1/tubeframe/knuckles rant haha)

20130908_171129_zps16f0ba7b.jpg

looms almost done.. it essentially just needs to be all wrapped up and tied down. then interior back in.

im so so behind with this thing atm, and looking unlikely for the big matsuri event i was going to have it at next month... still trying tho!

small update.

im mid house move so work on this has been non existant.. just awaiting my clutch pedal set up to be delivered. wound up ordering that and some wheel nuts. ive organised paint and all that.

so hopefully a decent update in the next fortnight.

Gave you a follow on Instagram man, this thing has come along so well!
All the best for the future plans, and good to see some good drift stuff coming from down under! ;)
