got hit by a mate in his 180sx as i was mid three car train.

1980135_836353596381143_1215991533_o.jpg

didnt care. kept drifting. exploded my origin front bar into about 17 pieces.

below for some vids of the crash, a vid of trains, and a vid of an early morning run when i choked at qualifying.

next on the list. pull car straight. new front guard. dmax bonnet. cut front tubs out. modify LCA/knuckles for more lock/clearence. and do more skids.

Awesome project!!
Just watched the vids and I like the fact the other driver came over and said sorry and gave you a hug lol

haha yeah that was my mate tim, he felt bad afterwards since he span to cause it haha. sucked as he literally span once in his battles, and then had that spin (tends to happen when your making 260kw and doing "one last lap" on shagged tires)

was a rad day. should have it all sorted when im home in two weeks.

also picked myself up a street car (cefiro) so ill do a lil write up on that when its in one bit.

sup to the guys that keep an eye on this.

had our local 12 hour drift matsuri. open track/pan from 10am till 10pm. bit of a hell of a event for me.

heaps of small dramas. no decent reliable handbrake. overheating issues. crashing on lap one due to cold tires/wet track... annddd delamed a tire so hard my guard exploded.

regardless. was a fucking rad time. i wont waste peoples times with more writing. heres some pics and a vid.

thanks guys. its getting there very slowly.

more seat time and development. and ill be having a crack at a few bigger comps next year here in aus.

haha cheers dude

the kit doesnt last long at most events. this is my third front bar in three events...

in other news. ordered poweredbymax's lock kit. new LCAs/drop knuckle etc. PBM seem to be the only dudes doing legit cool shit for FCs these days (hint hint driftworks haha)

I think im actually in love with this

The kit+wing+wheels look epic mate been wanting one of these for a while and seeing this doesn't help haha! Top work

spoiler n lack of 13b ruins it for me personly sorry

haha. ive found either people love it or hate it.

ive noted before in this build thread that i love my rotors. but after having 5 of them fail me at comps and such. i switched to the v8 for reliability.

the last event i did i had an oppsy and cooked this LS bad (like 160 degrees bad) then drove it home with a leaking waterpump (120kms...) with no dramas afterwards. no way could i put a 13bt through that.

incidently. heres a pic of my daily street car at the same event.. lent it to some mates to learn in haha

You thought of running a water mister/sprayer in front of the radiator?

My mate that i crew for here in NZ runs the same setup as you (LS in FC) and we found 4x sprayers on a temp switch works pretty well when combined with alloy ducting from the front bar to the radiator, and blanking off all the side holes. Just need a spare washer bottle with a high pressure 12V water pump to get the water pressure to the point it will mist. We just used irrigation sprayers from Bunnings. Would be worth it in summer for sure and it's cheap to throw together.

the thoughts crossed my mind, but over here its our cold season. so its not *that* bad.

ill chuck some pics up in the next couple days of this thing all sorted. came up pretty rad!
