what a weekend!
first and foremost. thanks a tonne to Luke, Solomon, and the DCA crew for putting on such a massive show!
weekend was full of ups and downs. after a trouble free friday. smashing out 60 odd laps and decimating 5 pairs of tires i was feeling pretty good with the car.... queue Saturday. chucked the ol gal in the passenger seat (finally) and managed to scare the crap out of her. unfortunately whilst doing trains with Tim and Luke i smashed a stub axle and munched a diff.... with qualifying looming quickly. phone calls were made. Adam dropped everything and picked it up and dropped it out to tailem. upon getting the rig back together... headed out with 3 laps to put down a qualifier. one practice. one balls out. one more balls out with a spin haha. made top 32!
come sunday smashed the superlap to determine the battle tree. drew up against the FT86 fronted supra of Angus Kidd. after a solid couple runs and reruns my stub axle decided to sheer in half again. leaving me car-less. next up was pretty much the best moment ive had skidding ever. had Stewy run over and tell me to jump in his laurel. did a couple quick wraps to warm it up and headed out for my rerun... by some miracle somewhat nailed it in an unfamiliar car and progressed to the top 16!
had all hands on deck to help me replace the snapped stub axle. but with time running low tim threw me the keys to his s14.5 to have a crack at it. unfortunately even after a re run i bowed out in the top 16 to kevin.
after everything the FC was back together in time for the loosest two hour expression session ive ever been involved in. (ill let the vids do the talking there)
all in all, i cant thank everyone enough that helped me out leading up to, and during this weekend. the guys i battled/tandemed/trained with. troy and the lads at tirepower mile end for the alignment and tire hookups. Katie for helping with aero, Justin at metalcrew for the fab work (as well as Dan for helping with the new rad setup) and broadbent for helping with the tow (and the bar tab haha) and massive thanks to everyone else tagged.

long story short. old black shell shagged. so i bought a new s4 vert roller. street rego and all that. keeping this stock body to keep police attention at a minimum.
1js mostly mounted. still to tackle wiring the microtech, cooler/radiator. exhaust. modify the manifold for 50mm gate. and then tune. e85 +1000cc injectors and im hoping to make 330kw atw or there abouts.
will update this a lil more regularly

not much going on atm. motors mounted. bought car home only to shuffle it back off to another workshop for even more goodies haha
its a bit of slow going atm as the guy that has it atm is booked up with work. but ive waited this long. another couple months wont hurt.
got bored however. bought this as a cheap cheap skidder. plan is to give it a small tidy up and hit up some events and see out the year in it.
sr20. t28. nisstune. poncams. cst coilovers. 2 way. jap arms/knuckles. cage etc. all the basics. super fun to drive

yeah car has seen some pretty epic battles at the last drift challenge australia round in tailem bend. a fair few of those tire marks are from mashai yokoi haha
hoping to have a fresh door and skirts and the rear quarter sorted and my cr kais on it and enter some interstate stuff soon

not much to update. just lots and lots of driving of my s14... so much in fact that i did a headgasket on it this sunday at tailem bend.
lil edit i chucked together. tailem bends being shutdown soon to be redeveloped and a full on proper drift track. cant wait.
