E36 compact // JZX100 Chaser daily

Attended another drift day on Sunday.

I was struggling with the car at times as it wasn't self entering at all. Steering rack was leaking slightly too, but I got there.

(not actually me driving in the photos)

So self centring issues. Can anyone point me in the right direction to correct this? The alignment is pretty off, so thats getting sorted soon, will putting M3 eccentric solid bushes in help?

These?

Another belting day and enjoyed it, and my driving improved loads!

Alignment will help but the best way is add more castor, you will get that with eccentric lollipop bushes and / or m3 top mounts reversed. Or cheap eBay generic top mounts with adjustment.

As above, eccentric bushes are what you want.
I don't see any need for the metal ones you've linked polyurethane works fine.

Looking good, not been out in mine yet but aiming for late July. Cant wait!

You've had it ages! How've you not been out in it yet?!

I know, I know lol

Just too much on with other cars.... Camper Van overhaul and working towards fitting some throttle bodies and manual conversion on my Supra :(

Bit the bullet and booked on to one now so gotta sort tyres out ready lol

The next drift day is still a month away. I picked up new wheels - style 42s. Fit ok with 15mm spacers out back.

And lowered the front a bit.

Nothing interesting really. Needs a new steering rack & a better alignment which I will hopefully get done before the next event.

Looking good!

I did my drift day on Sunday, was mega! Car was spot on, just needs some more lock i think.

What rear wing is that?

Finally!! Stick a set of rack spacers in and you'll have plenty.

Just some ebay special a local guy was selling. Not a great fit but it's alright!

Done two more drift days in this.

Struggling with the car setup lately, I'm happy doing figure of eights ands stuff. But when I was doing quick 3rd gear clutch kicks the car was two soft, bottoming out and generally being shite. Lots of experienced guys took it out to see how I can improve it and better coilovers and a set of cut hubs will help big time. The TAs are just not cutting it now.

Happily Phil let me take out his M3 E30 touring. Turns out I can do a decent skid. Check the video from TM Vinyl.

So winter plans are:
BC coilovers (hit me up if you have a second hand set going)
A set of cut hubs.
And then a dirty great 6 pot of some variety.

Things are happening.

Monopros from Driftworks. Feel bad for fitting something that looks this good.

Cut hubs going on this weekend.
