i moved in the house 2 weeks ago.. i skinted myself doing ht car.. untill the missus came here for a few weeks and force fed me.. i was living on pringles and white lable beans/cereal..

Phil, you dont NEED the turbo and IC to compete! You wer skidding it just fine the other day how it is! Chin up, and crack on with the bits that HAVE to be done for the regs.:thumbs:

If your running stock power you should be fine. You can take the standard IC up to 0.9 bar on the stock tub.

If its possible maybe you should get a water temp guage(if you dont already have one) for saftey and piece of mind so you don't overheat the engine. Or just run with no bonnet (is that allowed?)
 
Also if you still have that front lip ill give you £80-90 for it, ive been after one for fooking ages. Thats some money in your pocket too
 
io know i dont need the turbo.. i said that earlier.. i do need the FMIC for temps and because the new aftermarket bonnet blocks flow to the stock top mount IC.

I have an entire turbo2 bodykit in my garden. Its beatup and will need repairs but its there.

as for gauges.. I have none, nor the money to buy em or the know-how to fit one except for boost..

im tryin to build some kinda dodgy pullcable holder atm. lol So yes I AM tryin to meet regs.. just cba atm as im sure u'll understand.

couldn't u just run the stock hood for the first round to help get air in to cool it down??

i like the idea of the electric door handle tho lol... just make sure u don't forget about it in the morning!!:D

soz i missed ya call, was under the car. ive got like an a4 list of stuff to do, and a million courseworks, i dont even know where to start. :( on another note, the cage is bright red now :D

Gymbob: if i had the cash i maybe tempted but its a lorra dorra for standard rims. May as well pay that lot and get zigen matches.

I didnt notice the bits gone dylan as they were buried under other bits (or so i thought) and had no time/intention to use or installed them till now... Sorry but ive been busy just like you. And I too have an a4 sheet.. including trying to get over to u for the spindles at some point!

Nicely done mate! Always damned nice to get a sponsor! How about tyres are you ok for those? If you struggle, and you have no tyre sponsor, try phoning up Protyre head office. They seemed potentially up for it when I spoke to them, until I mentioned I only wanted a little 'scrap tyres fitted/swapped free for their name on my car 'cos I'm only ok'...
As someone at BDC level, they'd be interested in you!

Dude, gutting about all the stolen bits but the sponsor news is great! :thumbs:

Can't wait to watch this in BDC this year, it's one of the builds I've been really looking forward to seeing in the flesh. The Yoshi was the same for last season actually.
