CAPTAIN MUPPET-

is that a £300 entry fee or all the costs inc fuel, bridge toll tyres etc.

£110 entry fee
£100ish for fuel
£40 B&B
£5.40 bridge toll
and about half a new pair of tyres that were 35 quid each.
Plus two bottle of Mars milk, a pack of biscuits, two red bulls, two cans of tango and the worst Burger King food I've ever had.

13th place in Semi-Pro class, and 3 championship points. So 100 quid per point :D

It was the only place open at 22:00 on Friday when I had my lunch. Looong day of getting the car ready and driving all the way across one country and half way across the next.

The car took a battering - something loud is wrong under the bonnet. Just as well I have the E30 ready for the next practice. The RX7 V8 was running the last time I saw it too, just needs a bit of tidying and I'll bring that out for a play - 3.9 litres of FC goodness.

I've got some nice toys :D This has been a good year - lots of work, but a good year.

Any news on a date yet malx??

still waiting for the dust to settle ! was one of there biggest weekenders for some time, carnt do this week end as there are monster trucks there, and boy do they make a mess,
will ask again though

Coz i have missed all you lot:wave:

We've missed you too. In fact it's been so long it'll be like a Norfolk reunion. We're still hoping that our car will be fixed by the time the next day is announced. It's still in bits though. :o

Was good to see Memphis popping his competition cherry this weekend though. While he didn't pull off a surprise win, it was nice to see some Norfolk regulars and others pitching in to get him race ready.

I suspect when the next day is sorted, it'll be rammed with people desperate for seat time. I can't WAIT!!!

Ha, I don't even think the MX5 will pass scrutineering next year - it looks like all classes will need full cages. Everyone but me was offered twining in practice :D

Competing has eaten up all my spare time and cash for the last three years. I'm having a year off next year, and I'll see how much I miss it. It'll give me time and money to tidy a few things without the pressure of deadlines.

The buzz of doing a lap in practice is good for a while, but it's been four days since I got back from Wales and my decent qualifying run is still with me. I can't even walk round a corner without making handbrake motions and squealing noises :wack:

I will say that the level of driving just keeps getting higher - I've worked very hard on the car and on my driving and yet I've only just managed to hold position against the other drivers. If you're going to compete get started as soon as you can.

Guys, if we could get anough drivers to warrent it, we could do a comp, just need suport for it,
my idea was to have a comp style practice day so drivers can get the feel for the BDC /EDC,
we can tutour using the experance we have between us:wave:
just a thought:euge:
