RB20 Coilpacks

and if it works, when will they be available ? If they are already available but not yet in the shop, how do I order ? :)

GTSr32, I'm running 18 x 9.5J all round, ET30 on the front with 225 or 235 and ET0 on the rear with a 245 or 255.

Sorry for the delay guys, I've been trying to find some universal mounting bracket type affairs for the kits, but all usual places are drawing a blank :smash:

Now we've got the Bon onboard, we'll get these popped in the shop in the next day or 2 :)

They do fit the RB25 and work very well indeed with them if my car is anything to go by :smokin: but if you have the series II RB25 (like I do) which doesn't have a separate ignitor pack, you will need to get an RB20 or RB26 ignitor pack and coilpack loom, but these are easy to come by and fitting really isn't a big job.

Here's a few pics of the install in my car. The wiring needs tidying up a little, but you get the idea. Checking and changing plugs is a 2 min job now :)

That looks very smart indeed !!!

A question though... I've only been an RB25DET owner for 3 days now... How do I know If I got a series I or series II engine ? Is the ignitor pack the same as that power transistor thingy on the turret of a CA18DET ?

And GTSr32, the pixel cars can be found on a few websites, just look for pixel s13 for instance. This particular one was made for me by a friend, and adjusted afterwards by me, in paint !

yesm, exactly that
you can see the ignitor pack I've used on the top right of the 2nd pic where I've bodged it to the bulkhead :smash: :D
If you have a series I it will be mounted on the top of the cam cover at the back

Woohooo :)
It's day 2 now, and the money is burning in my pocket ;)

Sent monday from the UK, received thursday in The Netherlands!
Thanks for the great service guys. Now to get my engine in and this setup mounted for some nice reviews ;)

James (or infact and DW people in the know) are these a simple plug and play affair or is there many chopping and connecting of wires etc?

Does require chopping and connecting of wires but it comes with step by step instructions that if you follow make it pretty simple. :)

Would prefer not to send out the instructions seperately, it will take a max of about 2 hours, involves removing the insulation from the coil pack loom (seperate and easily removed), cutting and soldering.

If you can cut things, solder things, and read instructions, you can do it.
