Sam's new Drift car. JDM haters stay away :)

Car is looking sweet buddy

You wanna adjust the height of the pins on them catches though, you can see its pulling down too much on the fiberglass, creating big dimples :smash:

Got to be done though. The WMIC pipework for the t28 is a tad too high for the bonnet, i have already spaced the rear up as much as i can, if i loosen the pins off, the bonnet goes wonky :(

Job now is to re-arrange the pipework. At the moment though, it's easier to just slam the bonnet on it and lock the pins :D

Looks awsome.. and Saj runs a top shop, no wonder you got it from him...

What was youre old car that went to Denmark?

For some unknown reason, the rear lights have been run via a switch in the pocket in between the seats :wack: I spent ages looking for blown fuses before i realised :wack::wack:

It's not uncommon to see that with people who like to outrun the police. They shut off their rear lights so cops have a harder time following them at night.

That's the only reason I know of.

But other than that, VERY very nice Silvia. England seems to have it easy with importing these cars, especially since they are right hand drive already.

I thought it might have been because drift judges mark people down for using the footbrake on entry?

I've seen it done, but I would not see that so common over here until you run into the very big competitions. Otherwise it's just too much of a wiring hassle for such a small detail.

Since that car is more of a street car than a competition car, I'd figure it'd be more likely to outrun someone in the night.

But valid point indeed.

That is porn mate, you have no idea how jealous I am!

It's actually quite tatty in real likfe mate. Especially now I stoved one of the wings in at the last drift day and got it back out again with a breaker bar.

:wack:

Getting some vented frp wings on there instead. Gradual weight saving and all that tosh.

Have been collecting some bits and doing some work on the interior/dash.

Aircon is being relocated to the cubby on the tunnel

Have now got a stoich guage, exhaust temp, voltmeter, doovd, tubby timer and getting the cutoff's sorted.
