Southwall Smokers... Lydden Hill Drift Day 27th April 2013

It's the hardest thing balancing track time for your customers against all the money you'd like to make. As Lozza said top marks for listening to the customers. It's too far for me but have a good day all. Hope there's still enough in it for the days to continue, will try and make the trip later in the year.
 
So they cancel the 5th group for this day .. But say they will open it up for the future
Every skid day I go to I'm getting seriously fed up with sitting in queues off most of the day
Bring back open pit lane!!!!

Fucking brilliant day lez well done.
The only problem i had was the marshall on the cut through was slow on yellow flags when i spun at the pit exit a couple of times and couldnt get out as people were drifting round the hairpin towards me...my own fault for spinning i suppose.

Hope everyone was ok that crashed, cant wait till the next one!!!
 
Absolutely spot on day, first time in intermediate and had a quality time, groups flowed well, minimal disruptions and was sweet as... only downside is I didnt take enough tyres!
 
Thanks Lez and Lydden team, I had a great day. The car ran well and i got to abuse it through all sessions. I thought the day ran pretty smoothly. I was in the Novice group which seemed to run better than in the past. I think running the first lap under waved yellows till all cars were out on track and well spaced was a good idea. Also the briefing was much better and the one after lunch we could actually hear! Cant wait for the next one.
 
Does anyone have a list of the photographers that were there?

I have found one on facebook (patchworx photography) but thats it.

Awesome day tho, no car issues and a massive grin! Well done Lydden Hill!
