Too right mate. I feel sorry for all those poor Capris that just get polished in a field once a month :euge:

how do you feel the car handles with the live axle/rear spring combo? Bit late for me now seeing as I binned all mine but just curious, or did you fit an A/ X frame?

When it comes to drifting...... utterly dreadful!
It has 2" lowering blocks and no location kit, the result is massively unpredicatble!

I know live axles can work just fine though. There's countless Escorts that prove that, so it's keeping it but having a 5 link kit plus a coilover conversion fitted at Chizfab soon :smokin:

Ta!

Forgot to post this.... Capri engine buying!

Hopefully this little stowaway from Glasgow to Fife isn't an omen of things to come! lol

More stuff to buy soon....

This is my mate's old one.... I'm thinking of going along a slightly similar route styling wise with mine.
Mk2 bumpers but in matt black, Mk2 grille de-chromed, Image rims, much lower, smaller rectangular pressed plate, no fogs, different splitter....

nice engine pick!

we using BOA's and mostly BOB's for racing and its quite good as standard. good old 200hp and almost 300Nm of torque enough to start drifting.
one of our 24v sierras now leading the hungarian amateur series.

love your project.

Cheers!

Tempted by a turbo conversion on it too.... need to find who it was that was doing a manifold for them...

Ade if your going turbo route, please keep me informed..

I was going charger route but found it hard to get a place to mount the charger so now i am thinking turbo, and ive kept the mani and turbo from my 200sx for abit of turbo powers...my car wont be getting turboed till probally xmas time as it needs crap loads of body work thanks to my new ideas

Shittinghell Ade, you've made a Mk3 Capri I actually like the look of, thats never been done before! The rims totally make it

what wheels do you have there? First thought they were ATS but saw the picture below they were 4 spoke... They look amazing on the capri
