trolley jacks - recomendations

nooo dude after the steel one as alley ones tend to die a very quick death

the one mentioned on previous page was a big ass steel trolley jack

Been previous arcan reccomendation threads mate and the arcan ally ones are fine. I've had one for about 5 years now and it's perfect. The shitty dinky aluminium ones break, the arcan ones are the bollocks, ally or not.

I have the steel 3 ton arcan and I got it off eBay. Heavy fucker at over 30 kgs but its low enough to get under my stagea

I've got a steel arcan one. Fucking heavy. Lifts like a boss.
Got a Ali arcan one. Not yet been used but seems just as good quality

I have the arcan one after borrowing reepers at Silverstone now I own two in my work get used everyday not a fault to be found yet

My favorite jack at the moment.
Only about £150 from Mr Snap on and its super low @ 79mm!

Not the heaviest of jacks but not the lightest either!

wonder why they dont do the 3 tonne steel ones anymore ? they are also lower than the ali ones too ! cant find anywhere that does them

I've got a 3 ton steel one, think it's Clarke.
Been mint for 7 years. It's not even heavy, I am a beast though.

Blue point do a low entry steel jack, few mates have them and they seem great after a few years. Iv got a Arcan 2t alu one, no problems after 2 years of use just rememeber to check the bolts every now and again. Loctite them in.

^^ I have recently bought the blue point low entry with nylon wheels. It's cracking, gets under all the cars in the fleet and has the quick lift pedal too. Not cheap but that doesn't bother me.

Ive seen a lot of people saying don't go under the car if you're using a cheapy jack; I wouldn't go anywhere near under the car if it was just on a jack, regardless of the price!
