My favorite jack at the moment.
Only about £150 from Mr Snap on and its super low @ 79mm!

Not the heaviest of jacks but not the lightest either!

Yep just got me one of these as the Clarke 1 was becoming a death trap.
Brilliant £125+vat

Anybody know if there is somewhere online I could buy that blue point one?

My Lidl £20 Jack tried to kill me today so I think it is time for something decent

Also is this Arcan one any good?

ARCAN , LOW PROFILE JACK , QUICK JACK , ALUMINIUM , SERVICE JACK | eBay

I haven't liked alloy Jacks in the past and also is 1.8ton a bit low?

Its awesome bud, exact same one I have to use on my r32:) you can but it for £108.89 inc vat iirc from costsco though;) We have used it to lift everything from a skyline to an LT35 van:thumbs:

The picture in the ebay add is even taken in costco by the look of it!

This is the one we use, have had if for probably 10 years with mostly commercial use and it's still going strong.

The best one was a 3t high lift Snap-On one but it wasn't particularly low.

SGS Engineering jacks are great quality, I have their low entry jack, fucking amazing considering it was £30, bought it as a back up and still gets used daily.

I don't trust ebay jacks at all, although saying that, I would never climb under a car without stands, it's not worth the risk.

I agree with Clarkey, don't get a lightweight alloy one, they're shite.
I've had a Clarke 3ton one for years, its WELL heavy, but solid.

was going to ask about one of these but thought id just get abused! lol, they seem good value for money...
do you think a 2 tonne would do for an r33? (after lift height mainly)
