Drifting in Hampshire

Its a go kart track sorry guys..... im only about 10 minutes from here....

Its also a functioning airport and Car auction so it wouldnt be a goer i dont think......
 
To save me reading 7 pages of what is probably talk about an event I forgot to go to, can somone summarise this thread into 1sentence please :)

Shame really cause it seems there are quite a few from down here.

It didn't seem too bad when events were held at Silverstone, it's not quite on the doorstep but better than whats on offer down here at the moment.

What ever happened to silverstone praccys:confused:

I gesses it was a go-kart track. I know the airport and market would be off limits buy i thought if i could find out any info on the track i could aproach the owner and see if they would be willing to hold some drift practice days. Do you know how wide the track if?

your car has 4 wheels right... and drive's...?

well use it for what its designed for and DRIVE it to place's where you can drift in the country!!

I haven't been to Matchems for years now , the biggest trouble with the place is the huge great fuck off wall around the track. Not much room for error :no:

Yeh but more than 1 venue can't be a bad thing!
Shame as even the car park bit is big enough, got to admit o have sneaked in there and had a skid around in my PS but only lasted 10mins before being kicked out! I wish odiham would let us, they do track days! FML

odiham do trackdays but not drift days
theres a company that uses it for a grip day but its not very well advertised
also experiance days now and again there in posh cars

we tryed in 2007 to get it opened up for drifting using a legit company but they wernt interested



used to be a couple of drift days in aldershot too
(in the army training grounds by fleet)
but that got closed due to the track being sold
it was a oval shaped carpark with armco round the edges and lots of diffrent layouts with cones.
