Todays update: (19/03/2009)
Part Two: Evening update.
Ok so after a spot of lunch and afternoon tea (this is for the Americans btw)..
I got cracking with re-masking up parts properly and mask/cling filming the cage.. I didn’t rush it as gaps = fail.. but there’s BOUND to be parts I doo miss so will touch them up with green after. So anyway pics:
Cleaner tidier masking:
Wrapped the cage in cling n tape:
Then once I had done my best to cover at least the worst of it I set about attacking the car with a satin black. Yes yes yes boring I know, But..
A: Its cheap
B: Can touch it up eaaaassyy.. and its cheap
C: No glare to worry about
D: Its cheap.
Pics do talking:
As you can see I er.. missed a few bits!
Truth be told I ran outa light and its not easy painting round the cage etc..
Nail in the coffin was i was down to one can of black and it was coughing.. so i gave up for tonight. will carry on tomorrow morning
I’m going to do another layer, but I think time will be short as I have to do some serious panel scrubbing as it goes for paint on Sunday.
