Sammy, from my point of view, Yes the armed forces are brave for blindly defending queen and country but the fact remains, the majority DO NOT want you there. The attacks on London were a direct result of the government and its mobile armed forces getting involved in shit that did not have anything to do with them. You are not there to defend the world or the UK, you are there for money. Plain and simple. If i had my way you'd all be on your way home tomorrow.

Meat head i like you dude but seriously as regards to the forces/life you dont have a clue. If we lived in your world we wouldnt have a armed forces. Nobody wants any of those things to happen. They do it for a job they love and they dont expect to get screwed over for it.
Anyways Im not getting into this debate as it warrants a completly different thread.
I know it should be in a different thread but I agree with Mitto and others on this point somewhat. Ppl choose it for a job. They know the risks and do it for their own reasons. I personally doubt everyone has joined for the "nobel" reason of fighting a war in Iraq, and more importantly they have not been enlisted like in the case of a World War scenario. They have chosen it as a career. Similarly if a guy decides to parachute jump without a parachute for a large amount of money he knows the risks, he knows the possible consequences, and ultimatley its his choice. Thats obviously an extreme case of both (risk and reward).
I'm not doubting in anyway that they are not incredibley brave and courageous, and I certainly commend them, but I also feel that scientists who cure diseases, or even farmers who put food on our tables do in many ways just as important a service to their country. Also I'm Irish and so "technically" neutral lol

That's a fair statement if it was a fly -by-night Mr RandomImports but he lost 12.5k+ to a known and respected importer (read trusted). Hopefully both sides will be heard though.

I cant talk for everyone but im deffo not here for cash, im here to see the world and have a rewarding job(i actually earn 300 pounds less a month than i did(

No company has the pull to do that... thats the risk involved with imports. You are dealing with people 7000 odd miles away that generally speak a different language. Exporters in Japan need to be practically fluent in Japanese, written and spoken to talk car tech out there... it is not easy at all. It also helps if they know thier shit, which again, most don't.
Its not right that you pay out that ammount of money and get nothing for it... i know the feeling, Kawabata owes me the tune of £5000 for various shit dealings i've had with him, im not going to see it though.
