So the turn key conversion?? i went to lydney to pick it up with my bro and pay the outstanding 3500 when i got there he wanted me to buy the radiator seperatly the fuel tanks swirl pot some fuel lines was told the oil cooler and relocator kit was missing as that was all broken and fucked his words not mine there was a oilfilter on the engine slipped it off as it wasnt tightened right up went to get an oil cooler kit from mocal direct for the kit,with oil filter that was on the engine in hand..fitted it all on spent around another 900 quid on bits that were missing to start the thing and run it fuel pumps more fuel line,,oh he didnt give me the fuel reg or the fc commander so i then rang him and had to pay more money to recieve them parts another 100 or 150 quid...so i pay and he sends them sard reg with the gauge removed and the fc commander with the wire cut..i wired it up as advised by his now new mechanic james buller sent pictures and insisted the pumps would run they both assured me i mustve done something wrong...not the case i was being told the wrong wire was the earth after a bit of fiddling i got power to em happy days the car was ready to start boom turned the key after all this messing about and more money relief...i found loads of stuff loose on the engine and the fuel plenun sorted all that out and decided as id spent so much time money an effort on the safe side lets check the map off to gregs i go protuner all checks were passed and we started her up for a power run it made 517 bhp from the off no adjustments but greg aborted as it was over boasting,turned boast down run number 2 and all of a sudden the filter blew off oil everywhere but greg saw and heard what was goin on and shut it off asap...i rang julian and said he'd failed to tell me the filter h had screwed on the engine wasnt infact the filter for the engine,so 500 quid wasted day off work and journey so on complete waste of time for me,i then saw the oil relocator kit was actually sold to a member on here as it said on tge thread it was from the lil bastard...i couldnt believe it!!!
so anyway i sort it all out back to gregs and remap time it made 507 bhp awesome i thought cos i was originally told by julian its a fully sorted sr forged high rev spec 2.1 built in japan so i thought this was safe,rnd 1 2012 the diff was open so it was a short day for me,then rnd2 wimbledon car was awesome qualified 10th happy days all working mint,after the rub with the wall i took it to brandshatch for a bit of testing only a tenner of fuel used...then lydden hill comes up im in the first session feeling the car and just gripping most of the time oil pressure good might i add runnin on motul 300v 15 /50 and v power fuel went out second session a few warm up laps then 3rd and 4th skids allowing the car to cool down,oil pressure gd temp good opened her up in 4th a funny noise oil pressure good so thought it was a delam tyre clutched it up and the engine stopped dead lost all oil pressure,i was gutted the cap off the bottom of the rod came apart as it was standard nissan shit,it was only forged pistons and a set of cams inside it, mentioned it on facebook on my page a short sill comment from julian i answered he deleted me and that was how it was left
