Julian Barnes: Thief - Severnside imports - Achilles Tire - Low Brain Drifters

Scientific survey says , 30% of people will never ever do anything wrong, 30% will do wrong if they think there is no chance of getting caught or little chance of gettiting found out, and 30% will do wrong no matter what and won't give a fuck about the consequences, the other 10% end up victims of the others who dont give a fuck, True story !!

Pity some people are arseholes in this world.

wow this is mental ... if all this has happened why has it took Mr Morrison to post something before everyone bothers to stand up and speak?

this man obviously owes a lot of money to people or has scammed them out of their money ... shame really as there are some nice people who have been a victim of all this. :(

Because of the rule of...

...meant people moaning about scammers previously had their threads deleted/locked.

Swings and roundabouts, people always moaning about people makes the scene look bad, it being covered up lets it carry on. Some stuff claimed by people may be unfounded so it's bad to be posted, but if nothing is posted things never get found out. From the view of the 'scene' I guess you damned if you do, damned it you don't.

I remember many years ago (maybe 10 now) me and a few others happened across the accounts of a certain VERY big owners club (so one that organised numerous big shows and events at big tracks up and down the UK every year). Despite their claims it was totally non profit and all payments were used for making the club what it was, the accounts shown that they (which accounted for literally a few people) were spending upwards of 30k a year of the clubs money on 'Travel and Accomodation'. So they were blatantly going on holiday etc at others expenses.
That all got covered up and deleted IIRC I was banned for life.
Swings and roundabouts once more, people don't wanna be ripped off, but if they knew the consequences are the big 'scene' that revolved around this club would fall apart, and it was literally thousands of peoples hobbies (or indeed whole lives) at the time.

not forgetting that alot of bad press regarding julian and TJZ/PP have been deleted/closed etc etc

remember that DW is a business before anything else so while DW is getting money for advertising on there site/cars or what ever it is then they will protect there customer until it gets to much

You have to understand something too, a lot of people want to be traders on Driftworks, BUT DW are careful who they allow to trade on their site, maybe thats why some who are in the scene are not allowed to trade on here, I know there have been dodgy fuckers trading on here too but imagine if DW were not careful how many dodgy motherfucks would be on here trading or RIPPING.

Shit happens in business , its how you deal with it that matters !!

lol yeah right what happened to that TJZ engineering/Pure Performance, was one of the first threads i read on here when i joined.

Go outside people, if you put half as much effort into getting better at drifting and/or getting your image 'right' to attract sponsorship you hark after, then you'd be better off.

Getting involved in crap to feel important on the Internet is just retarded.

Although early dressed in frustration I'm sure at the heart of it phils post was a public service announcement of his experience. Up to you whether you deal with or believe either. But most are coming across like stupid 15 year olds (which you may well be)

Get on with your own lives and get involved with these life experiences first hand, it will be a much better use of similar efforts.

Much love, terry tibbs

Because its Phil who's posting it. And I don't mean that in a bad way, but if a random member posts it it doesn't have the same glamour or controversy to it, so people either don't care or are more likely to believe the company they have heard of than the person they haven't.

For example a large portion of the Irish drift community made a big deal of a European Series not paying for its venue last year (which nearly cost the venue), not paying drivers, bills etc. It was largely swept under the rug over on this forum, and probably the majority didn't notice or care. In theory if Phil happened to get the same treatment as some of the drivers did, and started a thread on here, it would have caused a much different result I'm guessing.

Who it happens to, is nearly more important that what actually happens, is the point I'm trying to make basically! And I mean no disrespect to Phil by any of this by the way, as I think its brilliant that he can bring attention to this sort of thing, so I'm just using him as an example.
