My buddy messaged me yesterday to ask what i was doing after work, i told him nothing. So he said to meet him at the unit. When i got there he told me he had sacked off a tinder date and we were getting the engine in my car. So we did.
The rb25/r32 gearbox mount i bought however didnt work so we had to modify that, however after a bit of fucking about.
Its in. What a result.

In other news had a few packages turn up this week and a few more on the way.
One was this.
Which has been a bullshit amount of time since i ordered it.
7 fucking months after paying for them they finally arrived. They arent quite in the condition i was lead to belive they were in. But fuck it. They will do 5” lips should make a everything better. Also feat mrs slippers and half eaten chicken kebab.
Also had an absolute cracker from another friend of mine that my mrs actually signed for which made it all the better.
A lot of effort went into making me piss my pants laughing when i saw it. That had a throttle body in it for me.
Got a few bits on the way from GK tech in aus. But overall just a small update.

Great news guys. Potato cam is over. Got a new phone so hopefully the picture quality of the build will improve.

Also my GK Tech stuff turned up. Pleased with it. Nothing too exciting just a pair of their mirrors and a set of braided lines with the hardline delete on the callipers.

So i needed to rectify my mild swirl pot issue. So i took it to work.
Then i took a grinder to it.
Then I had ordered some weld on barbs.
Welded them on. Jobs a goodun.
Popped into the unit to do a test fit and ended up just bolting it up.
So thats the fuel system coming together slowly.

So finally got the correct fittings for the bosch so got that fitted up and plumbed up.
I then went onto fit up the fuel tank and cut and fit the feed and return from the tank too the swirl pot as well as getting the tank back in the car.
Not the prettiest but its all mounted up and the lines have grommets where they go through the body so hopefully thats the fuel system done for this end. Now i need a fuel filter and a fpr in the bay and i can finish plumbing up the system completely.
I also quickly chucked on a mirror to see how they look. Im pleased. Really not bad for the money at all.

Life has fully gotten in the way of the car at the moment. As well as my motivation disappearing. I am sure it will come back very soon. I know im on the home straight. I just cant find the motivation to crack on at the moment. However i will be back in the unit soon. With my new best mate. Meet Duke. Re recently rehomed him. Yet another Dalmatian in the family. They are such characters. We love them.
So yeah. We will be back on the job soon. I’ll stop being lazy.
