If a jobless 16 year old who cant drive pitched up on my doorstep and asked me if their internet mates they hadnt ever met could use my airfield for skidding a load of cars around, surely theres only one answer to give??

YES_THIS_PLEASES_PEDOBEAR_by_nekomaniac12.png

abandoned, unused airfield, nothing is going to harm them ..

and what makes you think you know me so well? why not just leave me to it? look at the forum post, its so i can learn what to do. why not leave me to it instead of leaving smart-ass comments just because i don't know as much as you do?

Because your not listening. Listen to people that know what they're talking about

You can buy my car if you want as i've just decided that im going to pack up drifting and become an F1 driver cos I saw Lewis Hamilton on the TV and he has nice cars and a good looking girlfriend..........im sure silverstone will let me practice every saturday when they're not using the track for free and then I will be professional :)

i'd love to be a formula 1 driver, and as there is no karting places around here there isnt really much i can get noticed for, ive watched formula 1 ever since i was born pretty much and i love it, obviously thats too big of a dream, with drifting being something i can do in my spare time i can practice etc and maybe make something out of it.

Fuck...

Surely the nice airfield man will let you practice go karting?

i am listening, and i am learning ..
obviously its realistic to buy a car and learn to slide with it and then proceed on.
i'll do it for fun, but if i can make a career out of something i find fun then why not?

Like the one right behind me? Thats owned by my landlord for 5 years, the one that Ive paid £100K in rent for over the last 5 years? The ones thats been used for testing F1 cars in the past?

"No chance" in his exact words, "why would I want a load of scummy bastards tearing my runway up for £50 a day, even if there was 30 of them at a time"
When I asked if I could go have a go on my own he told me to do one. :wack:

And Im not 16, Im gainfully employed, I put a shitload of money in his pocket every year and Im only asking for a quick go, once.

Personally, I feel he's going about it entirely the right way. Buy car. Skid car in a large, open, empty space. You know, a space with no people. Then get noticed for legendary skidding in the empty place, by the people who aren't there. Or drive a kart. Or maybe an F1 car. Touring car maybe? Fuck it. Buy a llama, ride that around. It'll certainly make you stand out, and maybe you'll get snapped up for the yearly llama racing tournaments in Uzfuckistan.

And see the

True, although i did say that the airfield is open to anyone with permission, as its a useless large space used for nothing but a sunday market.

no .. skid car in large, open, empty space for PRACTICE. and then proceed on to go to racetracks and get noticed.
why is there so much of a problem when i was just wondering what the best and most appropriate modifications are?
why care so much about all the rest of the things i have to deal with, i have it all sorted so why worry..
i understand what it takes etcetc but let me do it in my own time, ill practice and whats the problem with giving it a go?

not really sure if this is genuine of not! :/
if it is, fuck off the idea of using the airfield...it wont happen.
get a licence, get a car, go skidding at a drift day, repair, skid etc etc.
than come back here in a year or two and apologise for coming in thinking your gunna be the next DK yOOO!
there are folk on here who have spent years securing sponsorship and im pretty sure even the "grandads" of the sport are still learning..... YOU WILL NOT MAKE A CAREER OUT OF IT!! tbh i will be surprised if you even get a car thats RWD but there!

Go and drift on it whilst the market is open!!

Do a backwards entry at 130 into a crowd of people and your bound to get noticed:wack:

i never said i want to be the next dk...
thats the point, im going to get a licence, i already know how to drive a car and ive used the airfield before to practice driving so why wouldnt he let me? :L
why would i need to apologise? im being nice, im trying to ask what the most appropriate modifications are for drifting, so i can learn. yeah ill give it a go, ill start drifting and ill go to drift days, and it is mainly for fun. IF ITS POSSIBLE, i would like to make a career out of it, in the long run.

This is a wind up surely?

if not, well good luck to you chief....

no, im trying to be serious and ask about what the most appropriate modifications are, i'd love to make a career out of it in the long run - i don't understand how thats such a big problem?
