Driftworks GeoMaster Hub Knuckles

well money of course dude.

i'm just getting the front ones ATM due to lack of funds.

another nooby question for the DW lot. how low do CS2's go without the hub knuckles on the rear? will i be able to go low enough? like exhaust touching floor low?

Ed - We now know how to 'fix' coilovers that don't go low enough so you will be fine

I'll polish the grinder ready for the shiny CS2's :P

They go "the car won't move low".

Just imagine, you have as low as the CS2's will go (mega low) then a 50mm drop from the hubs.
Combined the drop is massive.

I bet you'll run the coilovers at near full height ;)

no what i mean is.

i'm buying just the front knuckles as i don't have the money ATM for all 4 corners. will the CS2's go low enough on the rear without the hubs for the car to touch the floor???

i know apex gen 2's don't and a lot of other coilovers don't.

lol gutty i think we'll have to! chop chop! :D

Quick question, has anyone used different boots to go over offset rack spacers, tore 2 standard rubber ones, used silicone ones fron fr sport but eventually tore. Anyone got a better solution?

I've used stock new ones and they are fine. Just pull the boot tight over the spacer so there isn't really any movement there. Also I deburred the edge of the spacer so there was a nice rad on the edges that touch the boot. The spacer as standard has very sharp edges that would kill the boot in no time otherwise.

As above we've used stock ones, and generic ones from a motor factor :)
Heating them up helps.

;)

thats not stricktly true. once you lower the car on geomasters the arms start to bend at an angle and hit the drive shafts straight away.

the geo's mean you can go quite low. but no where near slammed without other serious work.

Is it possible to fit an R16 wheels on rear if DW geos + stock rear lower control arms installed?

Stock S13 rear drum brakes dont need any mod to fit back on DW geos rear?

I've had a customer fit 16" wheels, but you'll need to modify your lower arm for clearance.
Drum brakes fit straight on :)

Ball joint area needs to be modified for lower arm?
