the lock thread

Well about the hideous part is so and so. Truth is that our stuff came out in the beginning of the season and nobody has had time to do nice fenders for them yet (we are working on them aswell). Here is one customer who built his fenders in 2 days:

And about the rims, yes it's et 20 or less and 15 inch is possible:

Well truth be told I haven't got 950euro so I was getting the arms to be a pikey as well as saving hassle with wheels.

Mike I got some replies from Ardo but I guess everybody on the internet is emailing him so I'll cut him some slack. For the record I could probably make the arms for £250 a pair and he said he couldn't beat that for the arms alone. He's a nice genuine guy though and gave me some advice, I'd like to spend money with them if they can reply about a price for arms only. Otherwise back to homebrew deathtrap modifications.

Anyway I'll stop diluting this thread with my crap haha.

4mm spacers will destroy the seals inside the rack. 3mm max each side. but it don`t help much on the e36/e30 sadly.
I have 5mm and the rack is from e36 ,its holding for 5 races now and the lock is,,,,

The wheels are 8.5J et 20 and 25mm spacers ,I am going for more lock now
1.modify knuckles welding them
2.eccentric bushing for the arm to move it in the front 2cm
3.more spacers 25mm each side to get wheels out
What do you think about that ?? someone with e30 expirience

How the fuck have you managed that lock, im running 3mm washers, 8.5j et 10ish and my wheel hits the chassis all the time, so much so I cut and welded it!

Your already running 25mm spacers? Adding another 25mm your scrub radius will be huge!

For me to have more lock I need to widen the front track. This is my lock

Bit less lock than that when it sits on the floor.
25mm shorter arms on the hubs and 25mm wheel spacers, EVERYTHING else is stock.

With standard e36 wheels, and 195/50/15 tyres.

Z3 wheels, with 205/50/16 tyres, tyre catches the chassis restricting lock.

Looking into extending my bottoms arms 25mm or so for more clearance, then I can put the 4mm rack spacers back in for more lock.
