Filmed with a potato, but fucking bonkers cars, the Superproduction cars from France in the 80s. 550bhp FWD Citroen AXs? Flame spitting Renault 21s? All of them kicking the arses of Porsches etc. Oh yes...

MAN footing a old porka @ spa... I was laughing at some of those overtakes with full throttle and a decent amount of lock on the damm thing..:D

Going by how it was passing everything like they wasnt moving, and he has all the weight in the back too, I say a fuck sight more than the rest, he was just taking it to the limit.

Lad i used to know had a cammed primera gt in the green/purple flip paint. Nice car, good sound and surprised a few people :D
 
I love the mid 80's ATCC racing, just before the big power turbo cars like the Cossies and R32's turned up. The racing was close, there was huge variation in the car and they where literally road cars upgraded for racing. You even got proper David and Goliath races sometimes which just doesnt happen in motorsports anymore.

Theres a lad on youtube who has uploaded the whole 1985 season with races like this.

 
Quality! I was telling Sid about these last night but couldn't find em on Youtube! Even a Volvo 360 in that race!

Who has got the clip of Mark Skaife overtaking everyone off the line, on the GRASS in the Winfield GTR?
Been looking for it for ages!
 
Not the ones you're after, but these are good...

Mobil RS500 doing a badass rolling burnout start, but the GTR kicks ass in the end...

The Winfield GTRs starting on the 2nd and 3rd row of the grid but launch past everyone...
 
Fairplay getting those RS500's off the line.
GTR = 2nd gear, limiter, side step the clutch.
