Come now Mr Mycroft, a man with your high degree of intellect should know that a question is superceded by a question mark, not an exclamation.

No my use of the exclamation mark was correct, it was not a question, it was an exclamation of surprise, monkeys are generally slow at evolving, you caught me by surprise.

i dont get how he has time to supposedly go and post on all the other forums, everyone seems to have heard of him!

The key to success in anything [you wouldn't know this of course] is Time Management... I didn't get where I am today by being where I was last night this morning... if you find that hard to understand I will provide you with flash-cards and a story board to help your poor over-worked brain.

Back on Topic...

Soarers are good, their biggest failing is that people don't realise what they are capable of, they were never imported here and so never had a proper set-up for English roads, you really don't have to do much to 'Anglicise' them.

Buy a Soarer from a fool who is unaware of this [ie cheap] then spend a couple of grand and go hunting for big prey, nothing winds a Porsche GT2 owner up more than to find he is struggling and losing to a car that looks so innocent... the look on the [usually] fat middle-aged bloated bastards face is priceless as he realises that £120k has merely bought him an expensive humiliation...

£10k and a million pounds worth of entertainment...

you forgot to mention that aswell as being lighter than the supra, the soarer is also more aerodynamic. Which is why AB-Flug used the soarer with 2J to hit 220mph

oh and they didnt use an auto either :wack:

i'll give you time to use the internet (your life blood) to search for "witty retorts" on google... whats that word i hear? is it erm...

OWNED :alschaser :D

No, in standard form the TT Soarer is slightly heavier.

It has a better CdA but the vital difference is that it needs no wing to keep it on the floor at high-speed, it has a very stable high-speed air envelope, therefore to get 200+ you don't need much to keep the car controllable, the nice tri-plane rear spoiler is pure sex and is needed once you pass 190mph as at that speed there is a rear lift and that wing [which has a very shallow angle of attack] works perfectly in generating a little downforce and tidying the airflow aft of the boot.

The Auto box is good for about 400hp without mods, but upto 550hp with mods, for 220mph i think they ad 700hp, Toyota don't make an Auto capable of taking that for very long, hence the manual.

You are another stupid fool who when faced with someone who is vastly smarter than yourself seeks salvation in the hope that they must 'cheat' in some way, well if that makes you feel better chump, then you carry on thinking that way, it will stop you from feeling as inferior as I consider you to be.

I need no help in being witty to the witless like you.

380hp will get you 300kph in a Soarer.

It is a 2.5ltr short-stroke engine and will if de-restricted rev to 8200rpm with no trouble.

The gearing is around 25.6mph/1000rpm... so 'in theory' the car will pull 200+ if you can get it to peak right... well sadly you can't, the best I achieved was 380+ @ 7500rpm... I hit 191mph one way and 188mph the other but the slower speed was inth wind whereas there was nothing on the 191mph run... hence the justified claim in my books of a real 190mph car for just £10,000 including buying the car.

You need to talk to the Soarer guys about this, I am fatigued with the whole Soarer thing now, I spent too long trying to make a Twin-turbo V8 work and it killed my enthusiasm somewhat.

what gear did you use to measure the speed? the standard clocks arent going to be accurate at those speeds.
